Forgot to mention the other obvious appeal of raising the KOM: Getting more customers, and thus more tickets. That's something I think about as I still need to earn 10K more tickets for my next purchase.

I'm not worrying about raising my KOM. I only have to build 2 more things so I'm just saving up every ticket I get for those. Once I'm done, I'll max it out so I can buy the land.

UPDATE!
You get superintendent Chalmers. First task is to build the High School (200K+), it takes 24 hours. Good thing because I had just finished sending everyone on 24hr tasks!
Sherri and Terri are premium characters.
There's a 5 million zirconia for those with a lot of money.

I do have that much, just barely. One strategy I've read about is to buy these expensive things to get the XP, then sell them to get some of the money back. I haven't researched just how many XP that earns, or how much money you get back, though.

I wandered over to the original tstotips.com for the first time since the Gamezino shutdown, and they seem to be back to normal game posts. I'll surf it now and then for info that interests me.

i think they changed the odds to the dog race again. i won it 3x in the past. in the past month, i've played it 2x a day, at least, and I've not hit it once.

Anyway, whatever. I bought it and still have 200K left, and I still think the magnifying glass and popsicle tower are too large and obtrusive. But then they are just supposed to be show-off items.

So I've encountered a problem again. I got the update yesterday, bought everything, and started building the high school. Today, I sign in and my level has gone back to 33. I can't move on to the next quest until I level up again. This also happened to me with level 33. Very frustrating. I tried reinstalling and it doesn't do anything.

Do you use an Origin account? It seems it's going to be required in early September because they are having some issues with anonymous users.

With an hour to go in building the high school, I spaced and put all my KL characters on four-hour quests. 
The XP dump is great, almost finishing off my level for me. It's almost like buying three donuts... for five... million... dollars...
