Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Glad I came across this, I just started this up a couple of months ago and need to add more friends.
My EA Origins is: corbettfields
I tried to add a couple of people from here but it keeps saying the invite failed but I've had it go through anyway before so we'll see.

They do have a posting that says there's a known bug about friends lists not displaying, but it's from back in October.
EDIT: tstotopix says you have to download Origin software, or you can also download EA's Scrabble game and manage your Origin friends there.
I think the Scrabble option sounds more appealing to me right now.

I have a couple pending invites I want to accept but I need to clear out some inactive friends first and I can't figure out how to do that on Origin's site.

I was able to delete a couple of friends there and then go back to Tapped Out to accept the two pending invitations.Except one didn't work because the person who invited me is apparently maxed out on friends.

The whale for squid port made me think of a good squid port addition: Nessie, the Lock Ness Monster. Maybe if you have the casino it could unlock a "work as a greeter" mission.
One site had the percentages listed for the wheel prizes and they were pretty even. I think the odds were 10-15% for each item. Way better than some of the Christmas stuff was.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Update at your own risk right now. They seemed to have "misplaced" Level 38 gains (Courthouse, Nightboat, etc.) and they may not appear in your towns.
Deleting and reinstalling your app completely, then running the V-Day update, may help it return your items... But it appears it wants you to complete the Level 38 questline (Wiggum started) and/or Homer's blimp task from the Super Bowl event.

Updated, didn't see if something was missing. I probably lost my Level 38 items like everyone I guess.
I had corn growing up, it still had 40+ days to go, when I received the prompt for the roses something happened, the roses task started and I guess I lost my corn. It says that the roses will take 12 hours. Is that the same time for everyone? Above says it would take 24 hours.

eek.. just updated my game as well... App update and now its downloading the in-game update.
The Brandiene thing sounds interesting. I wonder if the three kids will be used for tasks or if they will be like the performers at Sqidport that don't actually do anything.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Ack.. yep.. my Courthouse is gone.. though where it should be there was a phantom floating dollar bill pile to be tapped. The boat I bought is also gone. And yep.. I did lose my level 38... I had just leveled up earlier this morning. Also gone is the Duff blimp from the Superbowl mini-quest. The grocery store, the Klav Kalash Stand are also gone.. I deleted the game and downloaded it again. Updated it via the app store, its doing the in-game updates again. Hopefully everything is back, especially the Duff Blimp as that can't be gotten any more since it was a limited time quest. I will have to open a ticket if my stuff is still missing and hope they can restore it all. Especially the level as I lost 2 levels now.. I was level 38 and cleared to the next level, which would be 39. It has me as level 37 now with very little XP progress into level 37.

If you haven't updated yet, hold off for just a moment to read through this:

Seems like if you have corn growing when you install the VD update, it auto-hurries it and cashes you out. If so, then go plant corn now and THEN install the VD update.

What the corn?! Awesomeness for me after the update! I planted corn 2 days ago and today when the Valentines Roses quest started, it automatically bumped my corn to completion and gave me all the $$ and XP to go with it!

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Ok.. here is what happened after I deleted the game, downloaded it, updated it in the Apple App store, and then let the in-game update take place.
As soon as my town loaded, I got the Level 38 Update thing again with 2 donuts.... Then text from Lisa talking about getting the blimp again (the superbowl mini-quest dialogue).
A 3 hour quest for Homer to Blimp Around.
In looking at my town, The Duff Blimp is back, the Green Peace boat is back, the Springfield grocery store is back, the courthouse is back, the Klav Kalash Stand is also back.
Wiggim was indicated for a quest and there was dialoge with him and the Mayor to start the Scandalous Spending Part 1 quest.
it looks like it totally reset level 38 for me. The quest to grow VD roses is there as well.
The judge is still in my town.
This is quite odd.
I think my donut total is still correct.
So effectively I lost a level I believe.

Also... IIRC, all of the handshakes floating over your Squidport entrance might go away with the update. What I'm going to do is clear all of those away (harvesting the 2-3 tiles I have waiting for me) AND do the same at Channel 6. Then start Corn, a Tile, and Channel 6 News tasks... and THEN install the update.
Actually, I'm not going to dick with my Squidport handshakes. I'm certainly well over the limit for tiles (I have 150+ installed and another 70-80 in inventory) so if I cash the handshakes in I'm not expecting I'll be able to start building any others. But Corn and Channel 6 definitely.... stand by as I update and let y'all know what happens...
