Looks like many DVDTalk threads are fixed but this one is a little wonky.

My idea is for Kory to give Mordred a ton of eggs and a bunch of people give Kory eggs so both guys are covered.

Just need him to approve me and then I can drop 150+. I'm 99 snakes short now. Got a bunch of eggs out of that last drop

I'm assuming that it's because the servers are overloaded with whacking day coming to an end, but the game crashes as soon as I get into my Springfield. Happened six straight times, even after a reboot. I'm currently 33 snakes away from my goal.

I'm glad you guys are getting snakes and working towards the prizes,but I'm so pissed i played this event safe and bought the motel this morning. I was 230 snakes away and I'm pretty sure the valentines event ended early afternoon. I figured I'd miss out otherwise. It was only 30 donuts, but damn.

I can't believe it's after midnight and the event is still live. Unfortunately the event forced me to make my first Tapped Out IAP. I got home from the Star Trek screening (no phones allowed--seriously, in 2013?) and expected the game to be long over. It was still going, but my kid was asleep and hadn't been able to play all evening because our wifi had been out (modem just needed a reboot). So I had my other kid hack the ipod password and played all I could to maximize her snakes. It was almost midnight, and at 4914 snakes the pet snake still required 60 donuts, and she had 58, so I plunged on a dozen donuts for $1.99. Of course the purchase confirmation and download took a few minutes and I was sweating a midnight shutoff, but everything went through, she got her snake, and now I'm sitting here 20 minutes later with the snakes still active. WTH? So Toddarino, I feel your pain. I was sure this was ending in early afternoon as well.

The snake is a lie! It's May 10 and the event is still live. Drop some eggs on me, people -- I want that arena! My town will not be complete unless Drederick Tatum is wandering around, engaging in various activities. My Springfield has so much room for activities ...

So far whacking day is still going. I'm a ways off from 12500, but if anyone just wants to dump eggs, I'll take all donations. I have 600 eggs I can trade/giveaway if anyone needs.

I'm currently at 10415. I figure the event will end before I get to 12500, but while its still running, I want to try my hardest to get to that goal for the motel.

So now I can access pages 1-12 on this thread and here I am on page 14 but page 13 "is right out!" Bizarre.

Like you, Vryce, I was whacking snakes all day yesterday and here we are, still going, and the Motel may be within my grasp as well (I'm at not quite 11,000).

I'm up for egg exchanges and egg donations, thank you. I only have 50 to trade right now but will trade throughout the day. I'll be driving to Fargo this afternoon so earlier egg exchanges / donations are more helpful to me earlier than later, thank you. Plus, anyone who comes to my town gets to see my message to DVDTalk!

I'm also continuing it appears. Dropped about 60 eggs on Canis.

Just saw it posted at the Tapped Out blog and sure enough, when I click the ? on the Whacking Guide, the message is there. Talk about a game changer.

Did we ever find out what's in the Whacking Boxes? I honestly think I'll stop at the Motel and simply whack snakes for eggs to give to people after that.
