Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Yeah, I checked that first, so Skinner is doing the 30 minutes task in KL only. I don't load the game every 30 minutes though so...

I will probably send him in a 12 hrs task, by mistake, some time later this week

That's the thing. I gave him a couple half-hour tasks this morning in order to keep him free, then just forgot what I was doing.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I bought the Zirconia for 5 mill, then had to spend two days earning 200K just to continue my quest.

But otherwise things are fine, and I even got 10 donuts in my mystery box.. I'm building the last attraction in KL, and it's taking so long that I'm building up my tickets. I added a gift shop and second ring toss to get my merch up to 4, which boosted my overall KOM to 4. And now I'm in position to add some real estate and make my park look better. I like how story put a bunch of ring tosses together, which at first glance looks like farming but real parks often lay things out like that too.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

My KOM is at 4 too, yay! Grub at 3, when I get more space I will start buying krusy burgers.

I'm in a relax time right now, a new attraction is building and it takes 36 hours, and Chalmers is in a 24 hours task. I may end up with no mission tasks by next week.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

My KOM is only at 2 (Nausea:4, Grub:2, Merch:2, Kitsch:0).. but I haven't added any extra buildings, outside of quest items and the early, cheap stuff you could buy. I don't want to spend the tickets until I've gotten all the quest items built. I'm at the point where I can building the Hotel for 20,000 tickets, but I only have built up like 7000 tickets after getting the pirate ship ride which took me down to less than 100.

Back in Springfield, I've got the High School built and then finally the Knowledgeum which took most of my money. Slowly building back up.

If you haven't already built the All Night Gym, you will need it for one of Chalmers' quests.

Got the Gym in my Springfield.

Also, just got an app update on my iPhone.

Not sure what changed.. other than the graphic shown when you go to Krustyland. I like the old one.

No update for me yet, though I did spot a bug today in which Bart gets the same number of tickets for 8- and 12-hour tasks.

Just remembered about this, I haven't received anything. I checked my email confirmations and it says "Estimated delivery: Wed. Aug. 28 - Wed. Sep. 4". So I guess I will give them this week.

Being ebay and paypal I'm not worried about that money.

Which 8-hour task, if it's at a premium attraction, it makes sense.

Hmm, Bart is occupied right now, but Eyeballs of Death is an eight-hour task and premium. Dang, I wonder if I've blown any tickets by selecting the wrong task.

Thanks for thinking of that.

Have not got mine either, they did charge my CC though; hopefully we will get them soon!

I received an email yesterday, after my post, saying that they shipped my order. It included an USPS tracking number. It's suppose to be here by Saturday.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I started Chalmers on a four-hour quest at midnight but set everyone else on eight-hour tasks so as not to lose everyone's time, and I figured I could flip them all at 8 a.m. Unfortunately I later remembered that I would be in an early meeting at 8 a.m.

Good news is that when I got back to the game at 6 a.m., Chalmers was the only one I needed to start him on a new 24-hour quest!

Yep, the good thing about the Level 34 quest is that you only need Chalmers for most of the quests. So you can have everyone else doing something else. Just in case I'm keeping Skinner available most of the time.

Skinner is a PITA, though, because his KL quests are either 30 minutes or eight hours. I don't see any greyed-out options waiting for new buildings/attractions either.

LOL! Yeah, I'm having the same issue. We could put him to work in Springfield too, you know.

Thank you. That's exactly what I was thinking when I set it up that way. It's not farming because there are no tickets from ring toss though it does effect my Krust-O-Meter. As for my overall layout, I was thinking of the whole Main Street USA at Disney World, the way the park kind of starts open and then goes up one particular path. I'll probably expand the park after I have the Tooth Chipper. Right now, I have 29,000 tickets and am holding off on building the Duff Pavilion at 25,000 tickets until I have 50,000 tickets total because I'm sure the Tooth Chipper will need plenty of tickets!

Yeah, that's not likely to happen. I still need to send him on a mensa quest but have kept him in KL. Though I do have a fair amount of tickets now and that doesn't feel as urgent (see below).

The Chipper is indeed pricey, though it also takes a ton of time so you'll be able to reload during that build. I finished the Chipper and am working on its accompanying quest(s), but other than buying real estate and trying to boost my ratings, I feel like I'm nearly at the end of Krustyland. Must be time for an update.

The good thing about getting the Duff Pavilion sooner is that it gets you 1 hrs tasks for a lot of your characters.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I guess I've basically hit the end of Krustyland.
Spoiler:
I just got the offer to convert tickets to dollars. I'm not going to do it, though, since I'm back to acquiring dollars at a high rate and in addition to just dressing up my park, I'm hoping there might be more KL down the road.

With that amount of land I sure hope there's more KL stuff in the future. Hell even the boardwalk seems a bit sparse when you have all the tiles.
