About gamezino, it works, according to must reviews, but it's too much risk. Most "official" forums recommend against third party sites selling donuts.

And yeah, you have to give them your Origin username and password.

I know how to turn off the notifications in the game. I'm just trying to figure out how I had silent notifications on my GS3, but on my GS4 I don't.

Don't all of these sites just hack the game to provide you the items?

Soon as you get your donuts change your password.

Looks like a lot of good reviews.

Someone was suggesting to change your password BEFORE you give it to them, then just change back to normal afterward.

I know that what sounds too good to be true usually is, but it's very tempting.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

just realized if you long hold something the editing screen pops up after a few seconds.

Since I have a ton of glitches it might just be me, but when you visit other's krustyland are you able to do all 3 tasks at once? Sometimes all 3 are available, other times 0-1 krusty tix dispensing items are available so I have to visit friends multiple times a day to get my 3 ticket clicks in.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Yeah, all those guys are doing is using a hacked rom that gives you donuts. If you have an android device this is really easy to accomplish on your own, doesn't even need to be rooted.. You grow donuts on cletus' farm, 500 donuts at a time and it's instant. This is something they could do in about 30 seconds and make $25. Not a bad haul. It also gives the option to by all of the old items that are no longer available as well as being able to grow money and XP.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Sorry for posting the hacker deal, but as they planned it appeared legit coming from tstotips. I didn't get around to pulling the trigger myself but I'm sure others did along with Obey the D.

Actually, I didn't really post it--Gamezino did after hacking my DVDTalk account. Sorry, not funny.

Yep, I've seen it being done. A friend does it free for people. Haven't had to have it done to mine. Had a lot of donuts from the time it was pulled after launch where mystery box would give some every five days, then they gave like 60 at relaunch. Then I bought some for limited time stuff at Halloween, Xmas, and Valentines before getting a lot from Homer

Yes, again, DON'T USE THIRD PARTY SITES, to get donuts free, or cheaper.

If you really want to "cheat", jailbroke your iphone/android device. That's the safest way. But you still risk being banned from the game.

Anyway, I just dumped all my friends so I could narrow it down to a more focused group of people I could better communicate with (aka DVDTalk friends). I also changed my Origin ID to Mazje. So if you get a friend request from Mazje, please accept. That's me.

Also, when I changed my name, the game "reset" the experience needed to level up, even though I kept my level/stuff. Basically allowed me to keep gettin easy experience and leveling up, thus granting me bonus donuts. I have no idea exactly what happened or if it's repeatable. Just passing it on.
Just wondering: Do other people pare down their neighbor lists? I have a ton of people from the whacking days, and it's obvious a number of them aren't playing any more. And it is a bit tedious since I'm trying to visit everyone every day or so, but I'm still getting $/XP from them; they just don't reciprocate. And with the update, I can certainly skip people who, say, are not building their Krustyland or who I know aren't recent neighbor adds.

I got the update but don't know what it was. Perhaps bug fixes or new quests or something.

I went up to level 32 today and and it let me pick a box for donuts. First time it was one donut. Let me pick again and it was 3. It then said that was the max you can win. Was that the update? Or normal for level 32?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Mboyd, the doughnut selection thing is what happens once you catch up on leveling up. You probably went to level 33 but since there is no level 33 yet, you get the select a doughnut box option. Once level 33 comes out you will automatically level up and probably get another doughnut.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I finally got Squeaky Voiced Teen into Krustyland and also got
Spoiler:
Wiggum
there as well. Unfortunately with the latter, he still had a Springfield task that I hadn't gotten around to doing, but now that he's done with the quest and I'm working on a building, I've moved him back to Springfield just to do that and get the thing off my taskbar.

After spoiler tagging the name above, I was going to ambiguate the "he" as well, but then realized there are hardly any girl characters anyway.

Once you reach the level cap, every time you get enough XP to reach what would be the next level, you get to pick a box. The box contains 1, 2, or 3 donuts (there's always one of each), and if you don't like what you get, you can pay $50,000 to pick again Let's Make A Deal style. So, depending on your luck, you can get 3 donuts on every level up for $0, $50,000, or $100,000.

Because I had previously talked about SVT in this thread and since he's premium, I figured he's not as common as the other. I know it's a bit random.

Now that I'm back from vacation and a little ways into Krustyland, the thrill seems to have worn off. I put all my Springfield characters on 24-hour tasks to sync up with my next building, and even put some Krusty characters on 8- and 12-hour tasks because I don't want to bother with them. Before I put everyone on 3o-minute tasks in order to buy my next item as soon as possible.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I've been doing 30 minute tasks for characters in KL that have them, 60 minute for the ones that have that as the shortest task. Trying to build up more tickets since there are more buildings that need to be built. The quest has up to like 40 parts.. I'm building the building for part 16 or 17 now.... I'm down to about 700 tickets. The building took 1000 of them.

I'm slightly ahead of you at part 21, and since I have more KL characters I'm a bit more comfortable ticket-wise (about 5700 right now). I was definitely doing all the short tasks earlier, though, and might regret not keeping them up if I get hit with a huge fee in the near future.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I think that I'm going to keep on the 30/60 min tasks for KL as long as a character isn't part of another longer quest or random quest. That will also help so that when I'm ready for the next part, I won't have to wait terribly long for a character to free up in KL. Just verified in my game. I'm on part 16, building the gift shop. It will finish building in 15 hours.

You're in a good spot as you'll start to get more options. Yeah, I had one character on a longer task overnight, then my quest finished early in the morning and I had to wait for him to progress.
