I justburned the remainder of my ingredients on 3 spooky walls and my second Rigellian hut. I'm about 3800 short of the Burns skin and the remainig protein strains would cost me 265 donuts. No thanks, Halloween is over for me. Only missed out on one prize that I wanted. Did end up with 30 more donuts than when I started with, only 27 short of being able to get Otto!

Too bad each town is limited to 10 drops at a time. In previous events, we all could have dropped a lot more on people who were close to goals. I should have a few dozen I can drop today on anyone who needs some.

I didn't get any of the end items for the three collectibles. Just could never get enough items for them. I don't care so much about the donut torture machine or the hover copter but the Burns skin I was looking forward to. Oh well. Not much I can do at this point. I'm at 8850 strands now.

It's odd, I see a new request on my Bart and Milhouse, but when I got to where I would normally approve a request, there's nothing there.

I'm going to be up late tonight, anyway, and my trick-or-treaters are scheduled to be done literally 12 minutes before the event ends so I'm going to pull a hail Mary and not pick up the Donut Torture Device until I have their treat bags in my hands for one final chocolate bar push. I got up to 450, or a 24-donut purchase. We'll see what happens!

I earned Burns and got the donut torture device down to 25 donuts. With all the free donuts the event generated, I figured I could spare that.

I was debating whether to bother with neighbor visits tonight, but since I had some leftover ammo, I decided to go for it. Good thing I did, because the second UFO I shot down had 30 donuts, and the third had a silver bag with two more donuts.

Nice! I didn't get any donut-filled UFOs, but I did get the 20 free donuts from Matt Groening and I used exactly 20 donuts to get the Donut Torture Device. Waited until the last minute, literally, and while I have everyone trick-or-treating throughout the night and I'll gladly tap any kid or rigellian tomorrow to see if I can get another quick Spooky Wall or not, I'm fully satisfied and will let the rest go. See you next year, Grand Pumpkin.

It's a good haul and I liked the event. Fun tapping, liked the three mini-events within one bigger one, and chasing the prizes was fun. It wasn't the most social event, that's for sure. There was a lot of funny dialogue and I liked the side quests like Matt Groening and Moe as a Droog. Is it just me, or is it weird that Moe and Mr. Burns have at least as many skins as Homer does?!

I was glad to get through this last part, was sick for a few days and was relieved to get the Burns skin.

Doesn't Moe only have 3, or did I miss one somewhere? With the skins I still am shocked that Lisa has more than Bart.

Moe has his original skin, the fancy suit skin that was a tie in to an episode a year or two back, the Stonecutters skin, and now the Clockwork Orange skin.

The event is still running for me so I'm looking for people in the 14K range to drop aliens on but not having much luckk. Funny how a lot of people seem to have hit 14,900 and then just quit.

I did burn off all my candy corn etc. on walls and then added a spooky house with my fences. I was one candy corn short of a wall but had enough other stuff to buy a gold bag, and that had a candy corn in it. I'm trying to burn off my last ammo but there appears to be a quota on how many UFOs we get. I'm like three candy corns short of another wall. Oh well.

I made some visits and got enough saucers to use up all but one shell, and that got me enough candy corn to build one more wall. I can't envision earning enough of anything else to craft something, so I think I'm done with Halloween.

Anybody else still able to collect bags and squish aliens? I'm still adding to my total and hoping I can pull off the Burn's skin.

Yes, I was able to, but then I installed the update from the App Store. Thing is, you can get the in-game update, start the quest, and keep squishing. At some point they'll force you to upgrade, but you might as well keep going. I'd have dropped some aliens on you had I not upgraded like 15 minutes before you posted.

I'm officially done with the Halloween event. I liked it a lot, much better than the last one with the castles. And I'm glad that they didn't get rid of the autumn trees with the update.



My first thought was "Neat!," immediately followed by "Oh, I've wasted my life."

Well, the game does proclaim itself as "life-ruiningly fun."

I was usually in the top 20 on my leaderboard but got up to 13 by the end. I was dropping all my gremaliens so I don't know why I wasn't doing better. Maybe I wasn't getting as many visitors.

It's nice to have the regular friend handshakes back, but I wonder when the holiday update will hit. I notice the spooky houses and tribal huts pay out every three hours, which is pretty good.

so, how did that leaderboard worked? I was always in the 20s.

From what I read, you got 10 points for each egg you dropped for neighbors and 15 points for each grem-alien you squished.

Got 30 donuts in my daily log in mystery box reward and it was enough to get me Otto!
