They also fixed the annoying glitch of removing the camera panning whenever you drop nightmares on your neighbors. It now is a bit faster to drop them but they still take a while per neighbor.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I should get some donuts for finishing both House of Evil and real estate today. The latter is taking me about a day longer because of the horror event, but still plenty doable. And the House of Evil tasks have been pretty easy lately.

The XP Collider is an interesting add. Seems almost like a desperate move to get players involved again. But hey, I'll take the XP.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Ah, Now I see their XP Collider game. It needs to be recharged with donuts. Considering the only point of XP for me is to speed up the bonus donuts, I think I'll pass. I'm annoyed that I didn't get around to buying some bloodmobiles when that thing was active, though.

And as soon as I say that the House of Evil is easy, I notice that today's task requires four spooky stories, not just one.

I ended up buying 15 rat trap trucks and getting level 58 plus 6 bonuts.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Yep, for some reason I thought it was only one spooky story. I finished it, and was waiting for my 20 donuts... and then I noticed: 1/4

At least we still have 2 days. I should be done tomorrow.

Is the rat trap truck a better generator of XP than the bloodmobile?

That was so damn annoying. Whoever implemented that should be taken out back behind the shed and flogged repeatedly.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Got my 25 free donuts today. Not bad. And with the Unemployment office open again, I'm getting my money again. I'm at 12M right now.

About the current event:
- It's taking me a lot of time to get the 4th prize. It's like the first three I got them in 3 days, and then like a week to get the 4th. I'm probably exaggerating, but it feels like that. Also, still 10 days in this Act.
- The craft items have been really crappy for both acts. And I have too many "ingredients". 2110 eggs, 3716 brains, 3393 bunny ears, and 3120 skeletons. Hopefully Act 3 delivers.

You should use some of those brains to buy a lot of wailing walls. They have a 2.25% multiplier.

Yeah, I'm still 600 jellies away from #4 as well.

Holy smokes, you're right, thanks. The menu mentions the multiplier on the spooky wall, but only the $ and XP on the wailing wall.

I'm vaguely amused that they never got around to changing all the references to the Act 1 s'mores.

Is anyone else having issues with the house of evil daily task for the day? I've squished bunnies but it still says 0/30. I even told the story to make bunnies spawn and finished one round of kids at the campfire and still squishing bunnies shows 0/30. It sucks because to upgrade my campfire to the next level I need to spawn snakes.

My meter is showing as 6/30, but TSTO Addicts says that it's an error, and we should really be tapping skeletons. I couldn't tell because I'm working on snakes and only got the smorgasbord from the Gateway to Nowhere, which was six of everything.

Thanks for that. I can confirm it is indeed skeletons. I just had Bart tell his story which spawns skeletons. Found one and tapped it. Now my meter shows 1/30.

Thanks for raising the question and confirming. I rarely go to TSTO Addicts, but went there this morning to check on the output for the Wailing Wall and saw some mention of bunny squishing, but I didn't bother to read it. I probably wouldn't have noticed until I started telling a bunny story and didn't get anything from it. I just made a few neighbor visits, and a lot of people are spawning bunnies, probably thinking they're getting credit for the House of Chills. Fortunately mine flips in a half-hour.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I'm sitting on 998 Formless Terrors. Get to squishing, people! I'm holding off on the Wailing Walls until I see what I need for act three but that is what I will be spending my remnants on. I'd hate to have Kodos' ship or something else I want come up and not have the goods for it.

1948 eggs
2276 brains
2225 bunny ears
1775 bones
little over 3k gummies to go for Tenta-corp HQ so I'm way ahead of schedule.

They ran an in-game update but it still said bunnies? Regardless, I'm done with that task. I hope all players eventually got word of that.

That's pretty bad--I was at 450 and dumped 100 in one flurry.

I'm the same--I got Kodos in act 2 so I want to see what comes up in act 3 before I buy all wailing walls. I'm actually considering skipping the continual campfire upgrades just to load up on brains for the walls since there doesn't seem to be much point to the upgrading. Will still wait for act 3, though.

I'm so glad they did this. Ever since the gremlins last year, EA had insisted on the panning camera, which took a long ass time when visiting neighbors.

Either the glitch was fixed or something, but I just got the task for day 1 without actually having done anything to complete it.

I'm behind for this final act 2 prize lol. If anyone has extra terrors they could drop in my town I'll return the favor asap.

Just hit you with a drop. Looks like we have about the same number of jellies, and I'm about halfway to the final prize.

I was wondering why I seemed to be behind a number of my friends, then I realized I'd forgotten that the skins for Moe's Tavern, etc. provided event currency. The problem I'm having, though, is what we said before: The characters are mostly the same as those who work on the monorail, and I'm still doing that for the donuts. So I took a day off from monorail to earn jellies, but now I've switched back to the monorail and hopefully will finish that up today. That gives me a few more days to go all out on Act 2. I'm still getting jellies from the campfire and neighbor visits, and don't think it'll be a problem to finish act 2 (and it's not like act 1 offered post-prize bonuses), but we'll see.
