i guess with that thing you'd better put it in a spot where you don't want to move it.

Love that! I don't think I'd have the patience to build it myself, though.

Yeah, that's why my town is one of the most vanilla towns out there. It's big, yeah, but nothing really creative.

BTW, I finished the Level 28 mission. Waiting for an update now.

Ok....forgive me for a noob question. I had a tile ready and it now shows as a handshake. Do I need to leave it so others can tap? I don't want to mess it up.

You need to leave at least one handshake there. When you see two you can tap one of them.

When I had a tile up , I wouldn't tap it till I had three or more handshakes, just to be safe. My clumsy fingers and all....

I built a hedge maze. It's not really elaborate, but it's still a pain to move.

I don't like to get too detailed with large lawns and parking lots. Everything is out of scale. I don't want to try to force scale by building a bunch of empty space around everything. Just a little bit of it here and there.

I always keep two. Every now and again, it'll get whittled to one. I think they made the tapping area for objects too broad. The areas will overlap and select the wrong thing. Every time I've accidentally tapped a tile, I was tapping something else. Directly on the other object and still zapped the tile.

That's also what makes moving the maze much more difficult.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I can live with just leaving one handshake up for the tiles, because I can wait three days, but I'll definitely leave at least two up for my corn once that's done.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I have a real delight in using labyrinths in my life and so I made one in my Springfield today. Took me a little less than an hour while watching TV. I think I'll do a little more to dress it up but for now I got the pattern down. If you don't know, the difference between a maze and a labyrinth is that a maze has many paths and potentially dead-ends, while labyrinths have one path in, a center, and one path out.

I'm not seeing the labyrinth that you created in your town. Hmmmmmm

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Still have not gotten my town back, maybe I should start really messing with this persons town I am stuck in; maybe that will get them to fix the problem faster.

Right now i am moving his Krusty totem pole to random places in his town, I always come back the next day and it is moved back.

It's been two weeks since I was able to play.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

That's because you're already IN the labyrinth, Lat!

Yeah, I just noticed it's not showing up on that website, either. Weird. That website's also doing some weird stuff to my browser because it takes a long time to load. I dunno how I feel about it...

(Unlike some people's towns who crash upon entry, I can still enter yours.)

I think I have 15 tiles up now.
Getting hard to count them, looks like they are getting smaller.

I got a Harvest Perfection mission for Cletus's farm, but im 72 days from having my corn done. Do I have to wait that long before I can finish that mission?

Yeah, you'll have to wait. I assume it's not part of a major quest and is just one of those random one-off quests you get every now and then? Those will wait till you're done and don't give you anything extra so it's not worth losing what you've already put into your corn.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Yeah, I started my corn on January 1st, and a few later received a task to grow moonshine. It's hard for me to have that pending task waiting there.

Yeah, it's going to drive me nuts. It's not as bad as a month or so ago when I had 11 tasks backed up, I only have three our four at the moment. But knowing I can't do anything about it will gnaw at me.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I started my corn on January 10 or so and that moonshine request is exactly what happened to me, Raul. And yeah, Joe, I've had similar feelings. I've had a few times when I had zero tasks and it was kinda weird / neat.

They emailed me back and said I needed to post my information in a EA thread and that they considered this ticket closed.
