That would be awesome K&A if you could or someone else. One thing is that I won't have live access until Sunday because of where I'm currently at.
I'm switching back and forth between my Siren (1st playthru) and my Hunter (1/5 of 2nd playthru). I'm in no rush so send me a friends request. If there's another one in the smae spot more the better.

Re: Borderlands

silly question - how do you throw a grenade in the xbox360 version?
do you need to equip a grenade just like a weapon?
i already have a grenade mod equipped.

this may be the wrong answer, cause I do this without even thinking, so I may be wrong, but I think it is RB

That is correct, to the OP, did you actually have grenades?

Re: Borderlands

Well three of us got around and played the "easy" round of Moxxi's Playground and it went pretty fast but that was due to two of the three were above level 48 and I hosted at Level 37. I swear some of the waves didn't last more than 30 seconds but I kinda expected that. But it was the first time with three players and I expected like in game play; more players = more enemies but didn't appear that way.

If anyone is looking for a weapon swap between their characters let me know since I really need to take two items out from my Hunters Bank and give to my Siren (class and elemental mods)

Re: Borderlands

I started playing this after getting it from Gamefly. I'm sending it back.

My issues... I didn't like how much it felt like they copied Fallout 3. Not in a good way either. But that wasn't my biggest issue. The game was too hard for me. I liked how when I died I had to kill the same guys over again. In other games, when I die and respawn, those guys that killed prior to dying, stayed dead. It felt like the enemies were leveled up more than I was, I just couldn't kill them with the firepower I had equipped.

That's it. I wanted to like it but I couldn't get into it.

Okay.

I was going to waste my time with this post, but I decided not to since I doubt you will be back in this thread anyway.

There's been a few missions where i killed all the enemies except the boss and died. When I respawned, upon going back to the area, the enemies were still dead and i was able to finish off the boss.

I don't even find the game really that challenging. There have been a few times on my first playthrough as a Siren, but as a Soldier it was cake. Also on my second playthrough with the Siren and EVERYTHING has been a joke, and my main gun is only a level 25. Only thing I had trouble with was the vehicular combat and Mad Mel stuff, but thats just because vehicles can't take barely any damage on the second/third playthrough without being destroyed.

He is clearly playing a different game than us, it's best to just ignore him and move on. He won't be back anyway (why would he?).

Re: Borderlands

Well if he doesn't like it playing the first playthru then he'll really hate in the second one. I'm getting my butt kicked in some places. Twice I've died even after killing everyone around. Even some of the simple places like New Haven are a slight pain. I'm almost dreading Old Haven.

On a side note I'm still going for the home stretch tomorrow on the final level and if anyone is needing to finish it they're welcome to join

Re: Borderlands

I continued to be puzzeled by how the weapon prices and levels are set. I had this happen today....

With my Hunter I've had a this Assault Rifle for the longest even in my first playthru

Picked thes up today and both are Level 42

CR Substandard Cobra
Damage - 113....Clip 12
Accuracy - 93
Fire Rate - 10....$28286
52% recoil...41% Accuracy...1.4 Zoom

CR 40.G Crimson Destroyer
Damage - 167....Clip 12
Accuracy - 96.7
Fire Rate - 10....$120345
82% Reload...68% Recoil...70% Accuracy...2.3 Zoom

I'm using this Acid Pistol.....
OL300 Vitriolic X3
Damage - 324....Clip 2
Accuracy - 91.7....Level 31
fire Rate - 1.0 $32119
3.7 Zoom

Picked up today...

Re: Borderlands

Level and Rarity are the two most important factors on pricing. I agree though that sometimes the levels and rarity of weapons don't make much sense compared to their stats.

I usually suck at FPS style games, and I haven't really died that much. And when you die, it is not a instant spawn on the enemies. Usually the boss matches, the guys that are dead, stay dead for a bit.

Re: Borderlands

I will say that in new haven, there are a bunch of people around..but you really can't interact with them..which kind of makes them pointless...its annoying, but ok.

Re: Borderlands

I'm in Old Haven and damn that has to be one of the toughest areas i've been to yet. Does anyone know how to get the claptrap out of it's cage? Is there some kind of switch somewhere? I looked around but couldn't find anything.
