You can actually get many more slots than that after DLC and a second playthrough. 63 is the max if you have Zombie Island.

Yeah, I have 45 or 48 myself, I can't remember. I was just answering the question at its most base.

Something like that, after the level 9 bank upgrade which is like $4 Million.

edit: Nevermind, there is a level 10 Bank upgrade which is 48 slots and $9.9 Million.

Re: Borderlands

If I get a class mod, that as a +x to certain skills, but I have already maxed out that skill, do they still stack? In essence, does a mod that has +3 to MetalStorm, but I have it as 5/5 already, does that make it an 8/5 then? or does it only add that +x if its under its max?

Re: Borderlands

Yep they stack on top of that. I hate how it's not clearly stated though. They really should update the Skill tab to show that they are modified from a mod.

Re: Borderlands

OK, lets see if someone can explain this to me... I have been using a class mod, made by Tegue (spelling might be off) that gives me +65% Mag size, +2 Overload, +3 Impact, 2+ Metal Storm, pretty good for a l27 first play through I think for my Soldier....Sell value is about $6500... Just picked up something called the exact same (heavy gunner mod), only gives +45%Mag size, +2 Overload, +3 Impact, 2+ Metal Storm, so basically the same minus the 20% mag size smaller diff (so what I have is better stat wise), but its made by Dahl, and its sell value is $12,650.... Anyone know why its sell value is doubled???

Re: Borderlands

Because it's level requirement is higher? Not that it makes much sense, but that's all I got.

That could be, I didnt look at that... Still makes no sense, unless Dahl's just are double the price....

Ok in the Arid Badlands you get 2 scorpio artificat mods: One that is fire, and one that is eletrical. I got the fire mod first..then the eletrical mod. Is there any difference between the damages/effects? Because I think fire did more damage than eletrical, and I want it back.

Just go back into your skill tree page, click on the little thing on the left of your turret, and you can change it back to Fire (which is generally better than Electricity)...

playing straight through maybe a couple of hours.

Spoiler:
IIRC you go find tannis at the crimson fastness (fighting in and out), turn the ECHO system back on in the crimson lance base, and then go the area leading to the vault and the vault itself. the region leading up to the vault can be sprinted through taking little damage from either the crimson lance or the vault guardians.

Re: Borderlands

ok, someone help me out here. I'm sure the answer is obvious but last night I made it to the vault. I saw the cut scene but decided to wait until this morning to play, so I turned it off and figured I'd just ran back to the vault from that near U Station. Well I just entered the vault again and The Destroyer isn't there, the cut scene doesn't pop up. The waypoint is designated in the back of the area but I can't get to it because of invisible walls, I can't climb up the sides...what the hell is going on, how do I get that big bastard to show up???

are you talking about the U station that is right in front of the actual vault / next to the gateway to the promontory? every time i transported away (like to new haven to get more ammo / different weapons) and transported back to "the vault", the destroyer was still there. try exiting out and opening up again and see if that works. or try
Spoiler:
running through the promontory/descent area again (you can sprint through these levels without engaging most of the enemies).

Re: Borderlands

I think I got caught with this bug

"Some players have experienced a bug that caused the Destroyer to vanish from play when the game was exited during the fight with the Destroyer. Upon a restart of the game the Destroyer is absent, the mission checked as complete and the Vault Key unobtainable."

I tried the U station infront of the vault, not the U station in the vault. I guess I could try running through those areas again, God that was a pain in the ass.

You can try to find someone at the exact same part of the mission (or before it) and do coop with them in order to finish it. That definitely sucks though.

I'm close to where you are with my Siren. I just finished Salt Flats and about to head down to the last home stretch though you are a bit ahead. I've already gone thru with the Hunter.

Re: Borderlands

I'm playing as a Soldier. yes it said I may be able to beat the game if i play the end in someone else's co op.

That would be awesome K&A if you could or someone else. One thing is that I won't have live access until Sunday because of where I'm currently at.
