Sorry man, that is part of the game and that is what my logic is based on. That tank is part of that zone, therefore if anyone "owns" that tank(which I dont agree with anyway...if a vehicle is on the map and the keys are in the ignition then it is owned by the first person to jump in) then it is the team who currently owns that zone, regardless of its distance from your base. And I dont think an apology is owed for having captured all 5 of the zones...to the victor goes the spoils...this isn't the UN afterall. Will we be arguing water rights and reparations next?

Agreed that the teams were poorly balanced though, although that unfortunately seems to be a theme as of late and I am not quite sure why. I wonder if it would be better if we turned off all talk so we can start using some level of strategy and also reduce the cross talk a bit so that when someone talks you know they are likely talking to you instead of just talking. Although that would make it difficult to do any kind of manual team balancing though if you cant talk to the other team. I think we definitely need to go to manual team balancing over relying on the CPU to do it for us as it is not doing a good job.

I don't disagree with your latter point...or even your former one, provided that folks aren't grabbing the other team's vehicles as a matter of strategy. One of the things I see online is that a team will fly to the other base, grab their warhawk or tank and destroy the plane they came over in. I've always thought that was cheap, and it's the sort of thing I started this game to avoid.

I know that's not what you do BTW. I'm guessing that you saw me running toward the tank and simply saw an opportunity to beat me to it, which is perfectly reasonable. It was when I turned to run from your tank and saw meathead working over that missile turret that I got aggrevated.

Yes...flip, please always check random but not balanced.

I like all-talk though. I always smile when Flip or Chew get a good kill...even if it's me.

I am surprised I didnt ball myself on that one. There was like 3 times last night I committed suicide on my own balls. That does not help the ego one bit.
Impaled by your own balls...

Had a cook out and I did all the food prep/cooking so I couldnt get on.

Not that it matters as I bet I wouldnt have been able to get on! Now that I read the thread better it seems like there were even more new people. Im sure I wouldnt have had any fun.

Max of 24 last night. We topped out at 7 I think. And there were two new people. Your assumptions are all erroneous!

We were at 8 for a good bit, but never over.

So who has uncharted? I want to try out multiplayer and have two trophies to collect.

I was thinking either tonight or Friday night.

I have family birthday plans tonight, but I could be on tomorrow.

Unlike you, I haven't finished the game yet (or three times ). I'm only a third of the way through. I hope there aren't any "spoilers" in multiplayer!

I couldn't say for certain, but I think you might see some setpieces before you do in the single-player game. Off the top of my head, I can't think of a setpiece that would give away any specific story points.

Amazing that you didn't get further into the game. I couldn't put it down (except for Warhawk night, of course).

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

still debating whether or not to pick up Uncharted yet. How many people can play multiplayer on Uncharted and can you even sync up on a specific server or host your own?

I'm more of a TV junkie than a gamer, so "my stories" take more precedence. Other than Warhawk, I'm really only playing games on the weekend.

Let me know if/when on Saturday. I'd like to give it a shot. I just finished my first play through yesterday.

I'd like to get farther in the single player before doing some co-op for Uncharted, but I'd be more than happy to join in once I do. (However, it looks like I may be doing multiplayer this weekend for the Halloween bonuses.)

I'll toy with setting up a game tomorrow afternoon...see if I can do one that's limited to my friends list.

Lol, so I see that the idea of a "kinder, gentler" Warhawk isn't working out after all...

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I just bought Uncharted 2 (instead of Warhawk), so if you guys end up doing a weekly battle night for that I will be happy to bring my mediocre combat skills to the table.

Edit - How many rounds per week use the booster packs in Warhawk, and are they all at the end so players without them don't continuously get kicked and only get kicked when they can no longer play at all that night? I'm considering grabbing just the game, but I can't afford the game and the boosters right now.
