Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Interesting. This week, I'll go half/half on jetpacks. It's not far from that now, as I leave them out of the lobby and we always have a couple of Vaporfield maps (Grinder + 1).

No Grinder this week...per Chew's request last week.

Finally, I'm pretty sure I prefer TDM to Hero, as it's less prone to spawn camping...glares at Slider. So Hero maps might get a little more scarce...maybe 1/night tops.

I much prefer the APC to jetpacks. How about archipelago with that?

I think the APC and the Dropship are both overpowered, but I can do that.

The APC is responsible for some of the most absurd Warhawk moments though. And that's got to be worth something.

I loved Rumble Dome and it actually made me enjoy K&N.

Standing near the edge and jumping to your death when anyone comes close results in an enjoyable K&N experience?

I'm not even sure a TOW will take down an APC, and a tank can't keep up long enough to do any real damage. It has to be a real team effort, and we're famous for sucking at that.

If we have huge numbers, and the other team can swarm the APC, that's a decent time...but if it's 4 on 4 or 5 on 5, odds are, it's getting back to its base.

I'm also not sure Archipelago is the right map with so many gears and wrenches available.

I was able to get a few stabs in the back on that map. There's a lot of good hiding spots, so I could wait until someone ran by and knife them. And I only jumped if I were out of grenades.

I would've guessed a lawyer...or possibly a hedge fund manager.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

It's Tuesday bitches!

So here's what I've got:

K&N lobby - Olsavik Village
No Grinder (might make a good K&N if it didn't have jeeps)
APCs on Archipelago
No jetpacks on Supply Chain
No Hero this week (probably more small-map TDM though)

Missing anything?

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

The Pens finally beat the Joe Liebermans, so he should be in full effect...plus I'm trimming down the jetpacks a bit.

He'll have to do some catching up with Slider though. That dude is a suicide spammer.

I for one would like to say that no Grinder CTF should be considered a crime. I dont know that I can support or take part in such an initiative.

Take it up with Chew.

If I were to load Grinder, I'd like to do it as the lobby or as a simple TDM. I like it less and less for CTF (always lopsided) or Hero (spawn camping).

How about a compromise? A Grinder K&N lobby might be fun with all of the nooks and crannies...and we could maybe allow vehicular manslaughter.

I'd just be afraid of those butt scars.
