I would stay on until 10:00 CST if there isn't a 9:30ish Dogfight and I'm not getting TOWed to death (thus getting frustrated).

I'll take out the CTF Grinder. And remove the duplicate map. That was entirely unintentional because it was one of the maps I swapped out just before going online Tuesday. I'd like to use one of the bigger Tau or Glacier maps, but I also don't want to keep booting Ravenous. I'll also drop the Dogfight just so we can coax Chew into at least another game.
I guess I dont understand why you would just not host in general unless there is some week where you are not going to be able to play. Chess can still be the ref by proxy Although maybe he is scared he will get booted for spawn killing with TOWs

Yeah, that makes sense. Some Tuesdays it's difficult for me to get online before 8pm EST, but I generally know those days in advance.

Ha ha! "One more TOW and you're gone, you... you... you... bully! But I will use as many as I like."

This is funny for a few reasons.

#1. chess generally has not been the worst TOW offender lately
#2. the idea that someone could boot chess.
#3. my successful TOW percentage can't be more than 15%
#4. his Warhawk attire is not fluorescent

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Had fun and a bit of frustation last night. There were a couple of times when I noticed some lag. One time chess was attacking me with the Warhawk and it seemed I got away, but all of a sudden when I am walking I die showing a died of a Warhawk gun and it showed it was from Chess. The other time I had a rocket laucnher and I was gonna hit a Warhawk and when I launch the rocket, all of a sudden the Warhawk disappears from where it was. Really weird.

Ok, this week I think I am gonna get the DLC. As I already got Fat Princess, I said to myself that I should also get the Warhawk DLC, if I wait for a sale it might be next year or never.

Actually I dont pop on till about 8pm Central so feel free to put those expansion packs first and last. I dont mind being booted at 10:30 or so. In fact it may be for the best as theres other stuff I want/need to do that I never can on a tuesday it seems

I think I need to practice more offense. I still suck ass in that fucking warhawk.

...funnier because I had TOW missiles most of the time and was just waiting for someone to support.

Early in the night, the TOW was the only thing I could hit anybody with (literally) because of lag. I guess I was still in that frame of mind, and yeah, there may have been a bit of payback from having our arses whooped the previous game when it was 4 on 3.

Plus you guys were celebrating a bit, which makes me really want to TOW you. Plus I had this whole bowling thing going on with chew, where I'd fly down that bridge like a bowling lane and roll cluster bombs under the porch. I'm sure I thought it was more clever than he did.

All that said, I did make myself available for tank target practice quite a bit that map...for both flip and chew.

Cool!

The people who made this game deserve your support.

I'm fully OK with this BTW. I'm not sure it's necessary right now, but there's no problem with having the ability to grow the game a bit.

I was glitching a bit last night. If you though it looked "odd" on your end, you should have seen it on mine. First time...and hopefully last time on Warhawk.

Expansion maps early in the night is a bad idea as it locks out new players.

I was worse with the TOW than usual last night...particularly when I was glitching. I just couldn't hit anybody with anything else...or at least couldn't do any damage when I did.

I'm as bootable as anybody, though I rarely ever did it. Only one person ever, actually.

And yeah, I keep my attire and Warhawk fairly subtle. I would like to see more of you make logos though! It just takes a few minutes.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

In the menu where you pick what your character looks like, you can put an emblem on him. Even starting out, there are a ton of choices and you can make them virtually any color. Some of you have probably noticed my little "tribal hawk" logo at some point.

I don't put them on my Warhawk, but you can.

Ahh okay, yea I got a gecko insignia; in green. Its on my warhawk too.

I love it because it reminds me of when I was a kid and wore 'gecko' shirts. I found an adult one about a year ago and its my favorite now.

Cool. I had a pink peace sign for the longest time. It was meant to be ironic.

Maybe I'll bring that back.

Been thinking about this one a bit...

I try not to do a ton of Warhawking near spawn points*, I generally only TOW tanks, turrets and flag carriers, and I don't purposefully clear the other team's vehicles.

I consider all of those activities (especially the last one) dirty and would probably warn/boot someone for doing them if I saw them. So if anybody has the perception that I'm doing these things, please tell me in-game.

* I do pay Chew the occasional visit near the spawn point, but just because he's always there playing defense, and I don't want him to feel left out on the cluster bomb lovin'.

Nah, I've never seen anyone destroy vehicles on purpose. It's just that if you got TOWed and spawn in or near the same spawn point, all vehicles in a large radius around the blast zone were destroyed in the first place.

I don't think anyone destroys the vehicles on purpose. I do agree with I.Flores on this assessment. When an area gets TOW'd all sorts of stuff gets 'ploded. It just seemed like whenever I respawned for awhile on that map there were no vehicles because they'd either been blown up or had no life left. And of course, the couple of times I jumped up to grab the wrench... it was like I was a lightning rod for pain.
