I'm pretty sure it was me and digi. I think my auto-lock is trained to find you first. In the event that you are not within range, it will then look for the next best target.

Sounds about right. I'll choose to take it as a compliment.

I usually look for digi. He's better than me at everything but flying...and he's not as far behind me at that as he thinks he is.

yeah, and you were doing some good flag defense as well. Just need to work on getting more on the offensive and you will be all set

Zeidos has also gotten significantly better, he was taking me out left and right last night. Pretty soon I will not feel bad about shooting you with my tank when you are unarmed

Hahaha "cheap ass" here reporting. Well digawok was obliterating me all the time with his tank on team death match. I think I did frustate chess somewhat by using the first aid kit and getting the rocket launchers when we almost evened the score on another death match. Can't remember the name of the places yet.

Position means a lot in Warhawk, so if you're well armed near the other teams spawn point, you're going to get some cheap kills. No big deal though...and as digi said, you're learning quickly.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Chess, are you making the servers ranked? It would be cool to make some games specifically to gather the harder to get trophies, like the winner/ no deaths on DM and TDM, the snipe a jetpacker, snipe at 2,500ft and so.

You don't need a ranked server game to do that.

If you "ask" for someone to help with a trophy, most of the time, you will get your help.

I would be all about a "trophy" round or two... I've gotten at least 4 or 5 playing on Tuesday nights. There are a bunch more I could stand to get though...

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I'm usually surprised when I get one.

You can actually get some of those harder trophies by just setting up a splitscreen match and using two controllers. I was showing a buddy the game a few months back, and we did the 2500ft snipe just to see how far it was. It was f'ing FAAAAAAAAR! I don't know how many times I said "how is THAT not far enough???"

Due to work I don't think I will be able to join you guys this Tuesday. I did get a couple of trophies last week, "Resourceful Driver" or something like that and "Taxi Driver?"

Resourceful Driver - you ran someone over and took someone out with the gun without leaving your vehicle.

Taxi - not sure about the specifics but you drove a guy with a flag or cores to the base.

I am going to be out this week and next week due to kids birthdays and vacation. From what I understand this should mean that you should be free from TOWs for the next 2 weeks

Sounds about right. With you out, I might even stay on the ground entirely. Eric usually forces my hand though.

I'm starting to worry a bit about attendance tomorrow. Hopefully we'll get a good showing.

No ween in a tank and no chess in the sky?

I might actually stand a chance tomorrow.

Shit. Who will I kill if you're not in the air and digi isn't there to distract you?

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I actually make a point not to fly too much. Under normal circumstances, I'd just stay in the air.

How much I fly tomorrow will be dependent on who else flies. If I feel like I need to keep Eric honest, I may have to...otherwise, you can feel free to chase me with a wrench.

Hell, maybe I'll keep working on my Warhawk skills. I should make excellent target practice for everyone on the ground.

Sounds like a plan. I look forward to shooting you down while you're attacking somebody else.

Which reminds me of the second funniest moment I had last week (tank surfing was the funniest):

Somehow digi and I ended up fighting with me in a tank and him in a Warhawk, which was different. We must've gone on for 30 seconds with him trying to strafe me and me trying to hit him with the tank, and neither of us succeeding at any appreciable rate. I forget who finally came out on top, but I had to comment afterwards that the whole encounter would have been over in 3 seconds (one way or the other) if we'd been in opposite vehicles.

Well, we're heard from several who can't show up. How about those who can?

On the plus side, looking at the "can't" list, sounds like the garble should be at a minimum tonight.
