Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Anything special you guys want to see tonight?
I'm personally looking forward to a 10-minute Archipelago and nary an APC since Slider is apparently out.
Give me a map and mode, and I'll load it up.

I actually think Archipelago is the most binoc friendly with the high view and the single path through the center of the map.
Badlands has a lot of opportunity for douche as well.
That TDM on Spire Shut In was binocularific last week too.

Gonna have to meet you halfway on that one Chew. Jetpacks on King of the Hill is go!
I also generally like jetpacks on collection maps, but I'll do one with one without.
Tried to get in Flip's BC2 game, but the server was full.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Lightest turnout in recent memory.
Sean and Rubadub are out of town and Slider's PS3 is kaput...also no Flip. So we played a lot of 2 on 2 and just a bit of 3 on 3. It was Chew, Nic, Ktown, Marcus and me most of the night with Cactus and Spatula popping in at the end.
Thanks to everybody who stuck around to play with Spatula. I know some of you guys were tired and it was a pretty slow night.
I won't be around to stab the wookie this week unfortunately. Driving down to San Antonio to look at houses. Have fun if you can get on.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
No worries fellas. Normally, anything in the neighborhood of 8 or more is good...just a combination of events this week.
With our 2-year anniversary coming up, it would be cool if attendance picked up a bit though.

I was the new guy, "Spatula," and I was so excited to play. Thank you, everyone, who was still around for those last few games. I have never bought a game and played with people I knew online - even at the acquaintance level we're at here on DVDTalk - and I decided to end the hesitation, forgo my stereotypes of MMORPGs (or whatever) and give it a shot. Most games I tried over the week before I got to play with you guys are filled with land mines and no chatter or teamwork whatsoever. What a breath of welcoming fresh air. It was a great time and I think I'm hooked.
Picked up the DLC triple pack after everyone signed out for the night and I'm up for whatever maps. I will probably be a "final hour" guy the next two weeks, if you're all still around at that time. Otherwise, March 1 is probably my first Tuesday to play full-on.
Thanks again, seriously.

I think the best part about our band of misfits is that we have a good understanding of our tendencies. So, as you say, teamwork is a possibility. Unless you've got Slider on your team... in which case, you don't even know which team he's actually going to play for.
