Played "Rush" for the first time tonight with Digi and Lee. It was frustrating at first when we were getting worked over pretty good, but once we got over the hump and got semi-organized, it was a good time. We were spawning strategically and talking to each other fairly effectively. We had one good defensive stand and rolled the other team once on offense.
The last map we played in Rush:

Yeah, certainly feels better on rush when the teams are matched and even more so when you win. I would also like to try some squad deathmatch as that is quite a bit of fun and teamwork. Really I think rush and squad DM are better modes for BFBC2 as it more exemplifies the team based aspect that you dont really get in other games. Conquest you can mostly just run and gun and strategy is not near as important, especially when considering the spawning aspect as in conquest it is not a big deal to spawn on a zone, whereas in Rush it is critical.

Rush feels more like running into a meat grinder...or being constantly base-raped. If everyone is fighting over a single objective (or two that are close together), the teams have to be very well balanced or it's a mess.
I did like Rush eventually and will likely play it quite a bit. I especially like that it gives me more maps. But I still think I prefer Conquest.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Fun night, and not as bad of a showing as I feared. Awesome to see Flip, OG and Ian in the game along with Gonzo, Ktown, Slider, Rubadub, Chew and me.
Highlights included:
- "Num Num Num Num Num" from Chew.
- "When I see the pole, I grab it" from Rubadub
- "You're a worse driver than Nic"
- Vociferous moaning and groaning from Chew followed by "that's what she said"
- King of the Hill with jetpacks is fucking epic.
- Grinder was fun mayhem as always with Chew getting the better of me today.
- Infected was pretty funny tonight. It should be broken with jetpacks, but everybody stayed on the map.
- Don said something hilarious that I can't recall for the life of me.
Lowlights included:
Binocular spam.
Base mining.
I suck in the APC...suck suck...need to sort that thing out.

You deserved more than you got, buddy!
Snipe wars with Flip was a lot of fun, but Chew pulling my APC off a cliff.. less so.
Game needed more Digi, Nic, R2, etc. etc. and by more I mean some, any, even a little bit. I saw Nic and R2 and Digi sign onto PSN, but they never came into the game.

You deleted your post.
Suffice to say that we were playing 2.4 on 3 with Rubadub being fully unsure what to do, so 6-7 binoc kills seemed a bit much.
I'm currently developing my own "Flip rule" in regards to you and binocs...or perhaps his will do nicely.
Apologies to Flip for being collateral damage on a Slider TOW...wrong place wrong time.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Sorry, my ps3 is overheating again it appears, so it was stable enough to watch a movie, but not play a game. Looks like 3 weeks is the magic number. Going to try the repair again, but probably not until this weekend so I will likely be out of any other activities for this week.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Good games, overall, last night.
I am sorry that I tormented K-Town a little bit too much (mostly on Archipelago), but he was just always right there and doing something of which I didn't approve. Also, stalking Rubadub with "Buuuudda" chants wasn't necessary... but it was fun.
Needed a good diversion last night so it was good to blow some shit up. Somedays you're just glad it's Motherfuckin' Tuesday.

Still a funny sight to see your APC along for the ride on top of my tank.
