Lots of close games last night and slightly better turnout than I expected. We were up to 5 on 6 at one point.

- Loved getting the expansion maps and jetpacks in.
- Tried to get in more non-Warhawk maps...seems to be popular. Had King of the Hill, Urban Strike, snow village, and Tug of War (Tau Crater).
- Hilarious sequence on Tau Crater with Slider jumping his jeep back and forth across the ramp...I parked my Warhawk on the opposite side and he hits me, falling to his suicide...then he starts doing it again and tries to get in the turret before he makes the jump but the jeep rolls forward and over the edge and is dangling by its back wheels. Chew is coming from behind chucking grenades, and all Slider can do is get out...falling to his suicide.
- Somebody made an epic flag run with me in a jeep on Badlands. I think it was Shao. Two dudes in a jeep just making havoc. Grabbing flags, saving flags, taking out Warhawks and tanks. Wheeeee!
- Glad R2 liked the server message.
- Slider...grenades himself every time I'm close to killing him...such a dick.
- Loved sneaking around and knifing nic while he sniped.
- Slider was just whooping my ass in that missile turret on Archipelago. I'd always assume he'd get out and do something else...but hey...it was still working.
- AWESOME ending to that map with me and nic driving two tanks back to our base with the flag...just sploding Warhawks left and right. We planted the go-ahead flag with maybe 15 seconds left in the round.
- More on letting nic drive: This dumbass drives me all the way across Island Outpost with the flag. We're almost home and see a tank driving up the hill between us and our base. Rather than stopping (like I asked him) so I could have time to 50-cal the tank from behind, he PASSES THE TANK and drives right into it's line of fire. BOOM!
- I was being super-douchey on King of the Hill. I watched R2 drive a tank in and just hunkered...watched him get out and run up the steps to our flag...grabbed his tank...shot him in the face with his own tank as he ran down the steps...laughed heartily...drove the tank up the steps and off to the side and aimed at the flag...killed about 10 dudes with R2's tank as they ran in to grab the flag.
- Chew and Flip were just tearing us up on Urban Strike. Saw Flip fry 3 dudes at once with his flame thrower!
- Grinder was awesome as always.

funny moments from my point of view last night on team death match tau crater:

I grab the binocs: kill slider, he immediately sends me a message that reads: "I will kill you"
He respawns, I kill him again with the binocs from another location. Another message, "God dammit"

Also on this map, Steve was waiting for the binocs to respawn and frizby was taunting him in his warhawk. I run in from the side and stab him.

Obviously, I saw the second one. You just came out of nowhere. Probably the hardest I laughed all night.

It would have been alright had I not been glitching so much in close combat on that TDM map in the Village. I was spilling blood all over the damn place but I was the only one dying. The other maps weren't nearly as bad. It was just farkin annoying, mudderfarkers.

I never thought I'd see the day where somebody actually thinks I deserve "a special place in hell" for my Warhawk play.

You could have just went down to the bottom of the main VGTalk page and told it to sort all the threads by the most replies. Silly boy.

In fact, a quick scan of the forum tells me that this is currently the longest thread in the board's database. The only close competitor is Official DVDTalk SmallBall League Thread in Sports Talk, and it is closed.

@ Flip...sounds like maybe you were glitching a bit. I've had it happen, and it is extremely frustrating...especially when you can actually see the blood.

Will have some level of team damage this week, but likely pretty low...maybe 20-30%.

Cruz is going swimming, but I'll likely try to end the night on non-DLC...just in case he wants to sneak on.

Cactus (I think) came out once...not sure whether he has plans to drop in this week.

Everybody else has the DLC, and if possible, I plan to load at least as much as I did last week.
