Did anyone notice when Jack, Curtis and Dr. Bashir were standing around last night after that guy committed suicide (when all the C-4 exploded), that they were standing in front of a silver beam with a "24" printed on it?
I'm sure that was an intentional "Easter Egg".

I was actually thinking of dirty, bearded Jack, but point well taken.I forgot to mention earlier -- but I did see that das Monkey already mentioned it earlier -- what's up with Wayne Palmer and the whispering? It seems like he's never speaking at a normal volume this season. And I know he's capable of it; he's done it before.
Did any read the little addition to last week's EW? It was one of those everything-you-need-to-know-about-24 guides. It had some interviews and stuff about this season, and I thought there was a good point about the Palmers. I won't bother to spoil it because it's not a major plot point or anything, but it was said (I think by one of the creators, but can't remember for sure by whom) that Wayne is the RFK to David's JFK.

Anyway: Chloe = I'd hit that.
I was wondering, when the Nuke went off, and Jack was "right there", where was the shock wave? At least a good wind?
I'm just having trouble wrapping my brain around the concept of a "small" nuclear explosion.

Suit case nukes usually only devastate about a 20 block area. and I believe Jack was 20 miles away from the actual blast.

I have not read this thread. I'm 24 mins into the first of the 2-hour eps and... WOW... so they get Jack out of the Chinese prison so that he can be executed? Just when does it end? If I were Jack I wouldn't be worried about being killed... I'd consider myself too unlucky for that. Just wow. Just when I thought it couldn't get better.
Edit: Heh. I just realized how many minutes I was into the ep when I posted that
49 mins in:

I couldn't hear Jack screaming when they poured the alcohol on top because I was yelling in pain louder than he was. And they stuck the poker in... just wondering where did the stick the poker in, the neck or the back?
Everything that I want to say now would be censored out, so I'll just keep watching.
Vampire Jack
Now I understand that comment. And also the one someone made about when does Jack finally take a stand and just says Hell no I've done enough!

I thought it was histerical when Jack caused that car accident and wrapped everything up by saying "Screw You!!!"

I just wanted to add that I love how everyone here refers to Assad as Dr. Bashir. He'll always be Julian to me too!
Besides this is 24, which has had so many Star Trek connections over the years, it's almost comical. How badass would it have been if they had gotten Avery Brooks to be the President or the head of Division?
