Yep, that's when I knew he was a goner. Kinda stupid for them to do that and spoil a great WTF moment.

Was the guy who told the President's sister's boyfriend something bad was going to happen Kumar's dad? I think it was but a friend of mine didn't notice.

So, is this where
Spoiler:
Rick Shroeder comes in? I thought I read he's a CTU agent. He'd be Curtis' replacement

I found the Chloe love triangle more unbelievable than any other plot device. Two guys "fighting" over her? OK, that's different.

Me and my brother commented that CTU has it's share of office politics and drama, which surprises us the most.

I also wasn't shocked over Curtis, but was over the nuke.

Doesn't Morris look like he's about 15 years than Chloe?

Anyway: Chloe = I'd hit that.

I was wondering, when the Nuke went off, and Jack was "right there", where was the shock wave? At least a good wind?

I'm just having trouble wrapping my brain around the concept of a "small" nuclear explosion.

I'm more pissed at Curtis for acting like a jackass. I liked him. He should of know what Jack was going to do.

That stuff kinda annoys me as I don't really see that kind of stuff happening (or being allowed to happen) in the middle of a crisis like this. One good ass-chewing from Buchanon would nip that in the bud quickly.

It's a 1 kiloton explosion. It took out a square mile, so Jack's outside the blast radius.

I was hoping we'd see a "radiation shock wave" or something that would stop inches away from Jack.

Yeah, but an LA-area nuclear explosion is the money shot they've been building to for six years now. That's why, while it was cool to see, it wasn't the biggest shock in the world.

However, I didn't imagine Jack would shoot Curtis in the throat. That caught me off-guard. Though, with 24s penchant for beating you over the head with the obvious, I didn't notice the medics doing any of the standard TV "he's dead" stuff for Curtis, like:

- covering him with a sheet
- closing his eyes
- waving off more help while slowly backing away

I guess, until I see him hooked up to an EKG that goes flatline, I'm not completely sold on him being dead.

Well, she isn't bad looking, especially since they dolled her up, but she's not the type I would see not one, but two men in an office catfight, potentially risking jobs and lives, over.

Jack killing Curtis isn't that far-fetched. He has quite the history of violence towards co-workers. But to his credit, most were under tense/sticky situations...

• (With Nina) Took out Mason while escaping CTU in S1
• Took out Tony while escaping CTU in S2
• Sent Mason to his death (but Mason insisted) in S2
• Basically "killed" Chase in S3 (put gun to his head, pulled the trigger, didn't know it was not loaded)
• Killed Chapelle, execution style in S3
• Killed (former co-worker) Nina in S3
• Knocked Curtis the fuck out in S5
• Killed Curtis in S6

...and I'm sure there are more.

I think everybody's missing the big picture here. Why send a tab-delimited file when you can send a table? I mean, COME ON!

Umm...everyone's assuming Curtis is dead. They didn't pronounce him dead yet...me thinks we'll see him again. He WAS on the set for the Larry King interview a few weeks back, and when I talked to James Morrision last week, he said they were up to Episode 16 as far as filming goes.

When you talked to James Morrison? Can I have your job/life?

I've loved him since Space:Above and Beyond.

I hope he's not dead too. I just knew from the moment he started acting weird about Dr. Bashir that there would be big trouble, which in the world of 24, means Jack's gonna have to shoot you.

He shot Curtis in the shoulder/upper chest so I would say that he has a good chance of survival.

Not entirely. She seems to have traded in her sarcasm and inability to say the right things at the right moments for a calmer and 'hotter' self. I'd rather have the old Chloe though, she was fun.

So my question is this... are they going to release a full box set at the end of the year? Or do I need to go get the 4 episode disk that released today? (Though I did like the idea of releasing a disk after every 4 episodes throughout the season.)

But I'd be pissed if I went to buy the full box set for Xmas or something and it didn't have the first 4 episodes.
