I think the music industry needs to look at song placement like every other company looks at product placement. IT'S ADVERTISING!

Instead of expecting payment when someone wants to use your song...

Haven't seen anyone mention Kevin Costner's commentary track on "Open Range." Very insightful, not only for his comments as director, but his contrary view that times were not simpler back then.

So glad they're going to release this on DVD. It was an awesome show when it was on. I used to have to work Sunday nights when it was on originally. :( I caught it on VHS, and when they re-aired...
