No, I mean The Long Halloween and Dark Victory were his good ideas, and almost everything else Loeb has done has been a pale reworking of those two comics.

I lean towards JGL, but if they pick Leo I'm sure he would do a good job. Leo would definitely get more publicity, but I think the brand and (now) Nolan's name already have enough people interested.

As if he isn't established enough to lend his Shakespearean talents to a talented director he's worked with before in a proven franchise that is known for having dark and complex characters he apparently loves to play, regardless if the original source is a "comic book"?

The very first reply was a "Brokeback Mountain" joke. And the overall reaction was not positive.

There is an old thread on one of the mac sites about the "soon to be released" iPod and how it would be a total failure and take apple down, etc...I love seeing that stuff.

So says Aaron Eckhart!
This from geekachicas.com:
"Ok, the film starts shooting in April 2011 and the rumor mill will not stop running, BUT, one man may have shined some light into the whole foundation to the next Batman 3 Movie. Actor Aaron Eckhart told MTV news at Comic-con that he has been asked by Christopher Nolan to reprise his role as Harvey Dent/ Two Face. YOU CAN BET YOUR SWEET ASS, that I'm loving this news. We could see a Dark Halloween type of film as Two-Face gears up the freaks to end the mob once and for all."
Take this rumor with a whole bunch of salt. For some reason I don't see Nolan bringing back Two Face. Could he? Yes. Will he? That's another ball of wax entirely. The most important question here is should he? I don't think so. To keep the continuity that Nolan has already established with his first two bat films. I say Two Face stays dead. Besides if Leonardo Dicaprio get's the role of The Riddler in Nolan's third Bat movie, he isn't going to share screen time with a villain that Nolan himself has said is kaput. Nuff said.
Lazarus Pits perhaps?

All it takes is saying that Dent survived but Gordon stuffed him away in Arkham to maintain his white night image and told the world he was dead.

I'm not saying I want them as villains in the movie, but I would love a cameo by maybe Christina Hendricks as a Dr. Ivy, or perhaps Angelina Jolie as a Ms. Kyle.

That or maybe he'll just be used in flashbacks or Bruce/Bats being haunted by his death.

I wish they would recast the Joker with Michael Shannon

The only reason I think they may want to bring back Harvey Dent is to have him take the role they were originally going to have The Joker play. Nolan said he had plans to bring The Joker back before Ledger died, so perhaps they've revised it to allow for Dent instead.

If they wanted to bring Dent back, the movie is just open enough to allow for that. Personally, I don't think it's necessary, but by now I know better than to question Nolan.

While I am positive whatever Nolan makes will be good, I cannot help but wonder what might have been had Ledger not died.
