Crazy priced currently at $55.99.

Sucks they didn't include the director's cut.

Re: UHD release announcements

When you set the price that high for a steelbook that should probably be $15-$20 cheaper it makes me think Disney want it to not sell well so they can say "See we told you so" on declining physical media sales.

Didn't know where to put this but since I buy quite a bit from Orbit - they have a new policy in regards to the tariffs:

Great news! Fortunately I never got around to picking up the Australian BD.

Between this and Tombstone, finally getting some of my most wished for movies on 4K. Hoping the price isn't close to $50 but I'm sure it will be.

Re: UHD release announcements

July from Criterion:

Our July Titles

Coming in July: a hard-boiled tale of vice and retribution, an unnervingly frank look at American masculinity in the postwar era, and a soulful study of the complexities of a sibling relationship. Plus: a sumptuously crafted vision of a pitiless aristocracy and the celebrated saga that chronicled one of the most indelible characters of the French New Wave—now on 4K UHD.

Is that 4k for You Can Count on Me?

I don't think it ever got a blu-ray release.

The art choice of scissors slicing the pizza is fantastic. I almost wish that was the actual slipcover.

Not even a couple months back I felt the itch to watch The Golden Child again (it had been forever since I had seen the film, I might have last seen it on VHS as a Blockbuster rental) and I have come to like this film more than I did when I first watched. I am well aware that it is not a good film and critics loved to trash this film, but it really is a fun watch. The only thing is that VS's prices can sometimes be a bit scary (I remember when everyone was talking about how a film like D.A.R.Y.L. was priced at $65 when VS first offered it).

I suspect this will be a very popular release.

No wonder they were pushing the Battle Beyond the Stars Blu Ray steelbook. Because it will be less valuable now that they offer that movie in 4K.
