Soooooo happy about Something Wild!

Extras are pretty measly on Something Wild. Two interviews?

Not a fan of the Solaris and Diabolique covers, but that won't stop me from the double-dips. Surprised to see Smiles of a Summer Night before the more famous and already confirmed Wild Strawberries, though it is a welcome addition. Figured we were due for another Chaplin. Wasn't a big fan of Fat Girl, though I have the DVD. I'll skip Something Wild too. Not sure yet about Pale Flower. Glad I sold my OOP DVD for a decent profit before the announcement.

I'm a fan of Something Wild and will definitely get the BD.

However, I practically went through the roof when I saw the (fake) announcement for Jean de Florette/Manon of the Spring. That would have been a dream come true.

You would think that Criterion would release real French classics on blu-ray already, instead of pretentious films that don't have a high rewatchable factor. Basically, they should see what old films France releases on blu-ray, and follow their lead.

Solid month. I love seeing Solaris on Blu-ray, I'd buy it if it was wrapped in a paper bag. Kinda surprised at Fat Girl. To me, it seems like Criterion will now release anything on Blu-ray rather than being selective.

Probably in for Diabolique. I saw Something Wild about 10 years ago and might buy that one. Haven't seen the others although Pale Flowers looks interesting.

It reminds me of an Alamo Drafthouse poster. Also, speaking of covers, I just laid eyes on that Great Dictator monstrosity. Is that a joke? Seriously.

I'm pretty sure the Great Dictator cover was done by Olly Moss, so it's pretty close to an Alamo Drafthouse poster.

And zero participation from any of the actors - is Ray Liotta that busy these days? I would have thought we'd get a Demme commentary at least.

I have to agree. This and Topsy Turvy, I hope they stop right away.

Beyond thrilled about "Something Wild". Such a fantastic little film. And I'm loving that cover.

Anything Chaplin is a must have. I'm in for GREAT DICTATOR.
