Eh, I used credit so looking forward to it. Never saw PJ. The other 2 I loved. Even Baby Boy, though I think it’s forgotten in his body of work. So hard to believe he’s no longer with us.

Some day OldBoy's Amazon credit is going to run out and I just hope I'm there to see it.

Besides the fact that your seemingly endless supply of credit is a point of fascination for many of us here (thanks in no small part to threads on the topic that you yourself have started), if I live to see the end, it probably means I have lived a long and (hopefully) happy life.
Also, it was a joke.

Eiza Gonzalez
She’s in the new Guy Ritchie movie out this week called “In the Grey”
Some good knowledge and she isn’t greedy, only took 6 titles.
And yes she’s stunning 😍

Is there a date for K-Pop Demon Hunters? Amazon keeps saying 12/31/26.

August titles, from their email announcement:

Our August Titles
Coming in August: two unflinching, Oscar-winning reports from the trenches of working-class America; a Dostoevskian family tragedy in the form of a Brooklyn gangster drama; an existential crime thriller from a French-cinema legend; a prescient commentary on self-help culture; and five radical documentaries that wage war against the conformism of modern Japanese society.

25 year gap between the original Coup de torchon Criterion DVD and the upcoming re-release.
Definitely one of their longest gaps.

Re: The Criterion Collection 4K/Blu-ray Discussion and Release Thread
That’s a phenomenal documentary! I’ve only seen two of the five in this set, but that one in particular made me want to see a lot more of his work, which hasn’t always been easy to find so I might look into this set in a sale some day. I recall randomly spotting an old Facets Video DVD of it at the library here several years back and thought it simply looked interesting, but man, I was not prepared for just how batshit relentless the main subject is, and how twisty and often wrenching the film itself is. The guy was basically right about what he was trying to do, but his methods were insanely confrontational, probably illegal in some cases, and at times verifiably nuts. But in a country that – at the time, and probably still – had a serious aversion to ‘remembering’ what it did both before and during the war, you can’t stop thinking about the brutality that led him to be this way. And then his own, uhh, complicated past adds a whole other layer! I’ve rarely seen such a powerful yet troubling depiction of atonement in documentary form like this. There are all sorts of long-form reviews of it online and on YouTube, pretty much all based off the Facets disc, so I suspect there will be a whole new round once this set comes out.
Personally, I think the film is worthy of its own release in the regular Criterion line, especially as there’s a lot of known behind-the-scenes anecdotes and material available that could be presented by a historian or whomever in more than just a sleeve essay or booklet can whatever these Eclipse sets come with now. Second Run put out a standalone Blu-ray in the UK several years ago that included an interview with Hara himself, and he’s still around today.

I'll get Coup De Torchon, being the Jim Thompson completist that I am. As far as Safe is concerned, that's one of those movies that I'm more than happy with the Blu-ray.
