I'll give the Romance, Music & Musical Challenge a little room to breathe and post the Oscar Challenge threads by the end of next week.

I hope so. It'd be hasty but I'm willing to throw together discussion and list threads.

No worries! Time doesn't mean anything anymore anyway.

I have a question and a suggestion. The question is, do we have a host for May? Since there's no universal theme I don't think a discussion thread is really necessary until just before it starts. It'd just be nice to know who's gonna start the threads.

My suggestion is that next year, the Romance/Music/Musicals challenge be renamed the Romusical Challenge. It's much shorter, and I dig portmanteaus (portmanteaux?).

I'll do it if no one else wants to. I thought I had gone back to hosting it again last year, but that was the second year I didn't host (I thought I didn't do '19 & '20, but it was '20 & '21).

I'll start the discussion thread late in April.

Do we have a volunteer for June's Historical Appreciation Challenge? I gotta be honest, I don't really want to do it this year. I may not even participate. Want to make sure we have someone set up, though, and that they have a little time during May for a discussion thread to kick around any tweaks the group wants to make.

I also agree that we need to find a host. I have a terribly sick and possibly dying puppy right now. So I already want to bow out of hosting duties. As with Travis, I don't even know for sure right now if I will participate.

Just wanted to post here that I do still plan on hosting July and August's challenges this year. Time got a bit away from me! I plan on getting the Sci-fi/Fantasy challenge threads up within the next day or two.

Reminder that anyone who watches the new episodes of Stranger Things this weekend can count them for both historical and sci-fi!

Does any title count for more challenges than Outlander?

-TV
-Romance
-Time Travel
-Action
-B-movie/sexploitation j/k lol
-MYOC
-Historical
-Sci-fi/fantasy
-Holiday (one themed episode in season 3)

FYI, I'm planning to get the Indie/Art House discussion thread around the 15th. I didn't get the sense from last year's feedback that we'll need a whole month to brainstorm any tweaks we might want to make.
