Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only.

Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Criterions, Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc.
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order

Return period is 14 days after delivery though possibly it's 30 days now for most people though there is a discrepancy b/w the receipt and website.
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept

Single Item 15% OFF, but should be reusable in different transaction and if the Clerks will scan it more than once.

Expiration 12/31/2020 and despite the coupon language is only good for In-store coupon Eligible items.

The long standing Free 60 day Trial Offer was discontinued in late May 2016

With the generic coupons the coupon numbers are different with the store and online versions. The coupon restrictions are for only online orders. The store coupons should work because they use different codes. So far B&N has never put restrictions at stores with the regular printable coupons. I would assume they should work until they expire Sunday at the close of business.
During the July sale, the in-store coupons for 15% or 20% did not apply so I'm glad they do this time. Note that I tried using the BN Buzz coupon again last night, and it came back as expired on 11/6. All the BN Buzz coupons are probably expired now then, but might be worth a try if you don't have another option.

You must be referring to the surprise coupons. There were no regular generic 15% and 20% store coupons during the last Criterion sale. Because of online coupon restrictions the only coupons that worked at stores were the $8/$40 DVD/Blu, $5/$50, and B&N buzz store coupons.

I don't know anything yet. Have to wait until next week to see if there is anything new. The only coupons that I know about are another $8 DVD and $5/$50 coupon for B&N members. May see those by Monday.

Anyone else dissapointed when searching for non "Criterion" bargains? Usually this time of year they have some killer deals on TV series, Box Sets, etc. I cant find much of anything that really says "You cant resist this"......

Quick FYI, the 15% off in-store has worked dandy for me for 4 purchases in the last 2 days. Thank you @LASERMOVIES!
Employee also told me that today they will extend the sale for another week.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

But they are likely to kill the coupons on these deals. Last year they had several killer deals combining coupons with much better than Amazon sale prices. A couple of titles were Home Alone Blu-ray collection and the Man with no name trilogy on blu-ray. I am just not seeing the deals right now.

it was a folded cardboard mailer that was around 4"x6"...maybe a little bigger. it was all christmasy. The coupons pealed off and revealed the code for on-line use and a bar code for in store on the back. Oddly it scanned in the store but the register balked at it saying something about it not "meeting the specifications of the coupon" or whatever. but the chashier was nice and used the main 20% coupon laser posted twice in separate transactions and gave me the one from the mail back to use later. It simply says 20% off any item, so I don't know what the deal is. i'm going to try it again tomorrow for Rashomon.

I was surprised that a lot of international titles weren't included as "Art House". There were a few I would have bought in-store at 50% off, but the clerk scanned them and it was no dice.

even the non Criterion titles that are listed as part of the sale online (as Art House) do not scan at 50% off in store

ex. tried to pick up Citizen Kane blu last night which is 17.99 online as part of the sale but scans at full price in store and B&N does not match their .com price in store

The week after thanksgiving is going to be 50% off cable tv shows - then the British TV sale - then the 40% off all blu-rays. The Criterion sale has been extended through the 26th as well, so i'm going to be very broke by the end of the month.

I've used the 20% coupon 5 or 6 times in the last few days. today with the new manager at my store I did a transaction with the 20%, 15%, and 5 off $50 coupons with no problem. 4 blus for $66 out the door. I went back later and used the 20% again with the same manager and finally picked up Bottle Rocket since they had a copy in the new packaging. She didn't blink and we just chatted about the sale being awesome and whatnot. She told me she was the new manager for the Media area, so there is clearly no mandate regarding coupons and this sale in stores. I just said "They keep sending me these things and I keep having to come in and spend more money" and she said "that's the idea!" She was happy to do it. Maybe i'm just lucky...

Anyone know if Animal Kingdom and Run Lola Run scan in store at 50% off? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you will only receive one $10 gift card as the fine print says one per customer.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Finally found the new $8 DVD/Blu coupon and added it to the list today.

Didn't see any information for new coupons this week, but next week there are a new 25% and 30% coupon that are supposed to come out November 21. I don't know if there are going to be any store coupons since the coupon information just mentions B&N.com. Hopefully they will have both types.

http://cart2.barnesandnoble.com/shop...&promoid=10853

30% Off One Item Coupon Details:

This coupon can be redeemed online at BN.com and is valid once per customer, per billing address.

This coupon is valid from November 21, 2012 to November 26, 2012 at 2:59 a.m. Eastern Time.

The 30% discount will be applied to the most expensive eligible item in the order - not the entire purchase - and will be deducted after all other eligible discounts are applied.

Additional Rules Governing Use of this Coupon: This coupon is (i) not redeemable for cash or cash equivalents (including Gift Cards and eGift Cards); (ii) not valid on past purchases; (iii) not eligible for purchases of the following products and services: Barnes & Noble Memberships, Gift Cards, eGift Cards, gift-wrapping, textbooks, digital content (including but not limited to NOOK Books(TM), NOOK Magazines(TM), NOOK Newspapers, and NOOK Periodicals), NOOK(R) devices, NOOK Accessories that are already discounted, other hardware and electronics, software, products available for pre-order, products from the Rosetta Stone Series, or products marked as not eligible for "coupons or promotional discounts," (iv) not valid on purchases made from third parties accessible from the BN.COM website (e.g., used books, etc.); (v) not valid on applicable sales tax or shipping or handling expenses; (vi) may not be combined with any other coupon or promotional discount; and (vii) may not be combined with the Educator program discount. This coupon is not valid at Barnes & Noble retail bookstores or Barnes & Noble College Bookstores. Void where prohibited by law.

This offer is subject to change or discontinuation without notice; we will, however, honor properly placed orders with valid methods of payment with sufficient funds placed prior to such change or discontinuation. Barnes & Noble is not responsible for typographical or pictorial errors.
