Good news that more coupons are on the way!

Nice. Hoping a get a 30% again.

Can anyone answer this question for me--the last couple of times I've called CS regarding member coupons (I haven't gotten any on this trial membership run) they've told me that since I'm on a trial membership I'm not eligible to receive coupons. Is this even accurate? I've used trial memberships in the past and still gotten coupons.

I'm no B&N expert, but I am currently on the free 2 month trial membership and I have received non-member coupons via email before signing up and now receive the member coupons via email since signing up. Seems like a lot of hit and miss when it comes to B&N and their coupons.

No, that's total BS they are giving you. I'm currently doing a free trial and after signing up started getting coupon emails almost immediately on the new account. If B&N is trying to sell you on purchasing the membership during the free trial they should send you all the member coupons as a way to promote the value of having it. Whoever told you that is certainly making it look like they are being stingy, and there is little reason for having a membership without the coupons. Even customers without a membership are entitled to coupon offers.

Did anyone get one of the new coupons that start today?

I did. 30 percent off, now through 12/24.

I got the 25%ers. No 30, as usual. If anyone has a 30% they won't use, I'd greatly appreciate you sending one my way... I am a member...

I received a 25% only for instore. I don't get any of the higher ones and I am a member. Not thinking I will renew.

25% is not bad. B&N coupons have traditionally had a max of 20%. These 25% and 30% are recent.

I have never received these coupons, whether as a non-member who purchases a few times a year from bn.com, or now during my 2 month trial membership that expires late next week. Seeing that my local B&N doesn't have a media department, it seems there is little value in a membership if you only buy blu-rays from B&N and can only do it online. Am I correct?

Can a B&N store place an order for you (in store) if they don't have a media dept? My first attempt at that, you'd think I was speaking swahili to the employee.

As others have stated, I will NOT be renewing my membership in January. Members should automatically get these coupons. It is utterly ridiculous that many of us are not... It doesn't mean I'll stop shopping there. They definitely have good sales combined with coupons, plus I have a B&N MC. But I'll save my $25 from the membership since I don't think I'll spent $250 in-store to recoup it...

Go to the "User CP" link up top to the left and then select "Edit Options" on the left hand side. There should be a checkbox in there to enable private messaging.
