I did this too. Ordered two Tim Burton toys for $19.xx total, as per final checkout page. Then I get the order confirmation email showing a total of $23.xx. Apparently one of the promos shows as working when you check out, but then disappears from your actual order when you place it. Not the first time this glitchiness/shadiness has happened to me at bn.com. Since I didn't take a screenshot, I basically have no recourse except to return the items or be out $4. Pretty lame, but I'm not going to bother with their CS.
ORDER TOTAL: $66.34
Your credit card will be charged* $73.84
I also discovered that one order went under the $25 mark for free shipping and I didn't notice. So I'm out $4.98 on that one. I'll have to eat that. It was my fault. But it sucks cuz I could have easily added a cheap DVD, then got free shipping. Oh well...

L&H Essentials Collection is on sale for $59.99. Use a coupon to get it for less. I know it isn't as cheap as JR.com was last week, but it still beats every other store right now...

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
I placed an order for 2 DVDs at the same time to get the free shipping. They both shipped out the same day, but for some odd reason they shipped seperately. I never got an e-mail tracking number for the one that arrived. The other one has yet to arrive and the last tracking record I have is that it was in St. Louis on December 1st. Of course, the one that might be lost is the one I used the 30% off coupon and the DVD is currently shown out of stock on the website. I called today, but they said they can't do anything until the 8th. I hope I can at least get the 30% off on the one that did arrive instead.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
DHL Global. I am supposed to get it in 2-6 business days, but the last activity was tendered to USPS in the morning on Dec. 1st. 6 business days would be on Wednesday. The other DVD that was shipped at the same time arrived on Saturday. Its stop in St. Louis was less than a day. I live a state away and this DVD being stuck in one location this many days probably means I'm not going to get it.

With the British sale in-store, I'm gonna abuse that 25% off store coupon before it expires on the 11th. With the member discount, I'll get some serious bargains! Anyone know when the British sale ends?

It says online the sale lasts for a week, and thought it started on Tuesday. The coupon should expire before the sale ends since it's valid through Sunday.

Wow, I was just about to buy a toy with the coupon (before I realized it doesnt start til tomorrow). It was in my cart. I started to check out, and it actually sold out before I could finish. It wasn't even a hot seller...

I have had to do a few ship to home orders on the British TV sale as I have not found what I want in stock. Lose the 10% membership discount but can use the in store coupon multiple times.

Yep, I'm about to do the same thing... Some titles are hard to find in-store.

Any other really good deals right now? I have a $10 gift card and wouldn't mind using it with the 25% off coupon, but haven't heard of any substantial bargains at the moment. I'm always on the lookout for older catalog titles, both on BLU and SD. Thanks!

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2
Didn't realize they were going to kick out store coupons in time for the sale. I got off an order for Tess ('09) almost as soon as the sale went live Tuesday because I figured the way B&N ships, even with my membership it would take over a week to get here. Amazingly it showed up today. Has to be the fastest turnaround I've ever experienced on a B&N order.
Had I waited a few days though, I could have saved an extra $3- oh well.
I'm hoping they will keep kicking out coupons to use during the 40% off Blu sale in a week or two. Even if they don't, there are 20% coupons for online orders, so that will get you over 50% off, and you should have no trouble using the gift cards online. The most I plan on paying for Meet Me In St. Louis is $18- hopefully even less if there is an in store coupon.

for a fresh batch during the rumored 40% off Blu-ray sale...
