Well, you can't use coupons online on pre-orders, and if I buy it in-store with Ship-to-Home I won't get the 10% off or cashback. But I did notice the price drop. I will probably order it in-store with the printable 15% off coupon, and use a $20 GC, so it will come to $15.50+tax out of pocket. So yes, it's definitely a better deal than anybody else will have on it, and it probably did work out better for me. Thanks for pointing it out!

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Accidentally bought 11 GC. I didn't see the delayed, non-signed-in versions showing up so I went ahead and got GC for those accounts by signing them up with accounts. Next day, BAM! Double GCs on every one! Obviously these guys aren't as stingy as Amazon.

FYI, Amazon has Walking Dead on BD for $27.99 right now. Obviously with no discounts or discount GCs, but I thought I'd mention it.

Got three couppons so far through the Discover link, plus one pending.

Picked up Double Life of Veronique with 15% off online coupon, and will use another on Tuesday for Amarcord.

No, but I doubt it will end too quickly. It is supposedly in-store as well, so I figure they'll have to give it at least a few weeks. Your local store may know.

Called the store and they said that it would last through the end of the month (ie end of February). They also told me that they had a bunch of past oscar winners on sale for 30-40% off.

BTW, Army of Shadows is $25.99 online and the same price for the DVD oddly enough. That seems like a very good price for the film and it is before any other coupons or cashback is factored in.

Is getting the Godfather 1 and 2 in bluray a good value? I don't want to get the entire freaking set at like $116 or whatever. I also haven't seen the third one.

I'll probably copy your Space:1999 order kenbenobi - 2 GCs, a coupon, and cashback. A great bargain.

Anyone still ordering Groupons and getting them? I put in a bunch of orders a couple of hours ago and no sign of any of them. Just wondering if I should expect them at some point or if this is pretty dead.

I put in several new orders today but so far nothing. However it took about 5 hours yesterday to get my first one. I wouldn't worry yet since it can take a while for them to show up.

Did you receive notification emails for each of them, or do you just log into your account through the merchants link? I purchased six cards earlier today, and only the one I purchased yesterday shows up in my account.

I ordered two this morning, and only one is showing in my account. For those who have theirs appearing, were you logged into your account when you ordered them? I don't remember if I did or not... When using cashback, I don't think you can be logged in currently... Whenever I follow the cashback link, I am no longer in my account...

Thanks for the heads up on that cb site. I have 3 others I usually use and the best they have for Groupon is 6.4%. I now have 4 cb sites to watch

If you use cash reporter it can make it simpler to watch them. If you search groupon or any other store it shows what different cashback sites are paying.

I ordered 5 today, and only 3 show in my account/only three e-mails received.

I think I may have "doubled up" on the same city twice. I don't believe this is permissible, thus two may have been canceled.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I definitely used different cities, but two of mine aren't showing up. One was placed around 10am, and the other other 3pm, CST. The one placed at 8am is there.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Placed an order for another one today (to round it out to 12). Also used two of them on one order. Got:

1. Fall of Cthulhu vol 4 (graphic novel)
2. Walking Dead 12-13 (graphic novels)
3. Life After People season 2 (DVD)

I used the 10% off coupon, FW's 4% discount, signed up for the free 2 month trial for free express shipping. All for $38.82, or $18.82 out of pocket.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Just used 5 GC on 2 orders and also used the AAA coupon on both. FYI...B&N only allows 3 Gift cards per order which is why I placed 2 separate orders.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Yeah, I kind of bought 9 GC's. Made 2 seperate orders:

The Bridge on the River Kwai
The Treasure of the Sierra Madre

Total: $38.02

Maltese Falcon
African Queen (suprisingly cheap on BN at $14.99)

Total: $33.56

Total of all that was $71.58 but I guess I paid half that because I used only the GC's. Only $35.79 out of pocket for 4 excellent BD's I've been meaning to get. Now I have 5 and 1/2 GC's left to use. Was thinking about Criterions but they are so jacked up in prices.
