Total: $33.56

Total of all that was $71.58 but I guess I paid half that because I used only the GC's. Only $35.79 out of pocket for 4 excellent BD's I've been meaning to get. Now I have 5 and 1/2 GC's left to use. Was thinking about Criterions but they are so jacked up in prices.
Any ideas if BN is going to run a 50% sale between now and 4/1? The Criterions are not so jacked up if you use the groupon with a 20% visa coupon. Same as the sale price of ~$13.5.

For example, Thin Red Line BD is $33.19*.8*.5=$13.27.

BTW, Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister cost $10 and $12 respectively with this Groupon without any coupons. Timeless satire.

That's a good point, I guess it's still cheaper than around sale time for the titles that are around $33-35.

These coupons expire 4/10 I believe, not 4/1. With that being said isn't the Criterion sale usually much later in the year followed by another one around November? I wish their was a Criterion sale before the 4/10 expiration date but I don't believe they've ever had one that early. I could be wrong though.

I have not used B&N for awhile, so sorry if this has been asked a lot. Is the 20% off Visa coupon one time use per account?

How can I browse the 50% off sales on A&E/History and BBC stuff? When I click on the sale links, all I see is 25 items or so.

I'm just getting the B&N home page, is the DVD Talk referral screwing it up?

Yes, I think so. There is a way around this though. All I did was right click and opened the link in a new tab. That should work. I really don't know how to fix it. Unless someone wants to give me pointers.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Something weird is definitely going on with my account. I am now 3 for 6 on groupons showing in my account. I "lost" two from earlier this afternoon, and now a third one I purchased about three hours ago is not showing up.

I wonder if it has anything with going through the Discover Card link? Maybe there is a maximum limit of 3, but in each case, I got the confirmation screen with an order ID #.....

Two of mine from earlier today still aren't showing up, either, so I just ordered two more. I don't want to go too crazy on this deal and end up with too many leftovers, seeing as they do "expire" in two months, sorta. I've already used the 3 I received, and have ordered 4 more, of which I know I'll use two immediately once I get them...

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Yea, I'm very perplexed as to why some show up while others do not, especially when I get the confirmation screen with the order ID each time.

I just ordered another one using a different e-mail address. We'll see what happens.

How long did it take using ShopDiscover for the Groupon codes to show up?

I don't think I'm going to get the groupons I ordered earlier today. They still have not shown up. However I did get one on a new account I started several hours ago. I didn't get an email confirmation for it but it was there when I signed into the new account. When I went to print it I got a warning not to use it until tomorrow because it said it won't work.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I bought 6 or 7 (I think; lost count...was using a form filler) just now by going through Mr. Rebates. None of them have shown up yet if I log in through the merchants link. The order confirmation said to wait for up to 48 hours.

Yesterday when I bought through the merchants site directly they were all more or less instant. I'm thinking the delay is probably for two reasons:

1. I'm not logged in so it takes a little bit of time for them to match it up.
2. They're getting hammered today, more so than yesterday.

EDIT: Monterey Pop Blu is $25 with the 20% coupon, BTW.
EDIT2: Battle of Algiers is $13 with the 20% coupon and Groupon. It's a great film, but I think I will wait it out for the inevitable Blu-ray.
EDIT3: Army of Shadows Blu is $25.99 before groupon/coupon.

I ordered one yesterday and received it within 2 hours. How are people ordering more than one?

Same here. The 3 I ordered on existing accounts still aren't there (even though I used different cities), but the one I created with a new account I have now received. I just placed two more orders with new accounts. I'm not doing any more with existing accounts. If those 3 arrive, I'll use em, but I'm not chancing any more orders on those in case they don't ever arrive.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

BTW, it may be more beneficial to use the referral link for one of your accounts and get the $10 bonus for each "referral", than going through *********. Depends on whether or not you think you will use groupon again. I was doing ********* at first, but my last 3 orders I have been using referral links to the same account.

I tried to use a referral link and do another purchase, but it didn't seem to give me the $10 for the referral.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I bought two early on in the promotion and received them within a few hours. Used $40 in GC's to buy the following blu's:

Black Swan (-20% visa coupon)
Day of the Dead
Dawn of the Dead ~$42

On Friday I saw the multiple cities for each account thing so I decided to do 8-9 more to burn through a $100 Groupon credit (only 1 so far has shown in my account). My fingers are crossed that the rest go through, hopefully by Sunday.

If you don't care about cashback, referrals, etc. and just want to ensure that you get your Groupons, order them through the Groupon iPhone app. None of the ones I ordered through Discover on my PC arrived, but all of the ones I ordered through the iPhone app arrived instantly.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

What's the criteria for buying multiple GCs? Just different cities? Can I use the same card and other info?
