The code is in the pdf. It says it can't be used til tommorrow but you can still use it online now. I have no idea how to get the 20% from discover though.
I created an account and submitted my order a couple of hours ago and haven't heard from them. And that merchant site won't let me sign in; it tells me my email address wasn't found. I hope this wasn't some scam.

I'm having the same problem but have a feeling this deal is getting hit hard. I noticed a very active thread over at slickdeals posted about this.

Yea, I just pulled the trigger on this as well. It said it can take up to 48 hours to "Process my order"....WTF?

I doubt it's a scam, as they were linked directly from Discover's website, but I can't understand why it will take two days to send me a confirmation e-mail with the code.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I received my gift card, but I'm a little confused. There's a section on the printout under Universal Fine Print that says "Must use in one visit." Now if you click on See Full Terms you get this:

Except as prohibited by applicable law, on April 10, 2011, any funds remaining on the BN Groupon shall be reduced by $10.00. For example, if you use your BN Groupon to make a $6.00 purchase sometime in March (meaning your BN Groupon would have a remaining balance of $14.00) but do not use it again thereafter, on April 10, your BN Groupon will be reduced to $4.00 (because $14.00 minus $10.00 is $4.00).
The example they use doesn't make sense if it has to be used in one visit.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

So, they mail you an actual $20 B&N gift card? Or is it all done electronically?

Electronically. Either print a copy or enter the promo code online.

It's a scam and Discover, the rebate sites, and all of us who claimed to have received our Groupons are in on it.

Seriously, Groupon is one of the hottest sites/services right now. It's not a scam; it's just incredibly popular.

Mine just showed up in my new account. Ordered about 7:30PM and it took between 2.5-3 hours to get it.

According to someone on SD, a corporate memo claims that, despite the terms, this acts like a GC and is stackable. Balances will also, allegedly, reduce as used save per the April deadline.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

Is the 20% Visa one-time only?

I'm thinking we can go through Cashback portals twice? Once to Groupon and then to B&N? Coupon codes don't stack with the library/bookstore links anymore do they?

EDIT: Never mind re the bookstore links. Just saw they've been discontinued.
EDIT2: Visa 20% says one-time. Anyone's experience say otherwise?

Oh, man. I'm going to go big on this groupon. My first one. You can buy one from each city. A 50% discount at BN prices with free shipping is pretty good.

Lots of great music to be had cheap. I know this is DVD Bargains but with BMG gone, it's hard to get music cheap.

I read that in the "wiki" for SD but I haven't read anyone actually doing that. I HAVE heard that people are making multi accounts to buy them, but not that any one account can go to different cities and get new GC. Can you verify?

Bought two on the same account from different cities and used them already.

I have a cart worth $200 full of stuff (CDs, DVDs, books) I'd like to get but I'm being slightly greedy and seeing if there's any new coupons coming our way with which I can sweeten the deal.

I bought more than one from the same account. Just buy from different cities. You can one from Chicago and another one from say Nashville. Basically you can buy a bunch as long as you don't buy more than 1 from a city.

If you're doing online orders you can only use 3 GC max.

Thanks for pointing this out! Totally didn't realize you could buy multiples this way. Now I've got some serious shopping to do...

OK, got my code overnight. Thanks for posting this tip, and to sleepyhead55 for pointing out the link that wasn't blocked.

Bought mine through Discover Card shopping portal, so I'll be getting 20% back. Snagged Dances with Wolves for about $8.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

it's funny that some cashiers did not know what an e-giftcard is. I was using 4 printed e-giftcards (they all had different balance) the other days-The cashier had to call someone and asked, and when i only needed to pay $2 after the e-giftcards, she told another cashier "it's like getting these stuffs for free"...... HELLO???!!! I PAID FOR THE E-GIFTCARDS!!!

OK, so now I'm in on it too. The email came overnite and I was able to get and redeem my code.

I was just concerned when it didn't recognize my email address when I tried to sign in last night.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for posting this info.

Bought 3 so far, but I forgot to get cashback on one. Oops! Still a great deal... Only redeemed one so far. The items in my wish list have terrible prices right now, so I need to look around for some deals...

I know you were regretting not buying it last week, well good thing you didn't. The Walking Dead dropped down to $29.99, so that's $15 for you. And even cheaper in-store with coupons and your member discount.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I actually used the "10% off entire order" coupon. I wanted to order 4 cheaper items, and didn't want to waste a good coupon of them. I was able to use two of the $20 GC's. I went over by $6 but didn't bother to use my 3rd GC. I do think I'm gonna get another one or two though. Space 1999 S1 BD is catching my eye (50% off currently, and I'd use the 20% off coupon, plus two GC's, making it $20 out of pocket, not counting cashback.
