Could it be any more confusing?
It happens all the time. When Amazon runs out of stock they sometimes default the page to a Marketplace seller with stock. You have to look closely when ordering.

If you pre-ordered with the $5 coupon a few months ago your order should reflect the difference. With the coupon, $25 was what I was comfortable paying so I'm happy. Hope it goes down a few more dollars.
I got in with the $5 coupon also and some credits I have so this will be a sweet price when it comes out.

Keep up the great work Lizard and all those who post in here! Always cool to see titles I might have forgotten about or may not have been interested in at higher prices, having good deals.

For the ones I'm really interested in, I save them all for later in Amazon and if I go to my cart, it always notifies when the price changes

I do this with most movies. Most, I did it with Nemo also, I think I seen it as low as $31-$8 off.

Don't tell me what? That I can save titles in my cart at Amazon and it'll tell me if the prices went up? I already know that. Since Amazon tends to jack around with their prices constantly (and usually in the up direction), if I were to put a batch of titles in my cart, a couple days later I'd expect most of them to be more expensive. I'm also paranoid enough of Amazon's pricing algorithms that when people show interest in a title by putting it in their cart, I think their software will tend to keep the prices higher. So I keep a file of stuff I'm interested on my PC rather than let Amazon know what I want by keeping it in my cart so they can keep the prices high.

Don't tell you about the price changes showing in the cart because it gets you all upset.

And I don't believe that particular conspiracy theory, but I don't work there so I can't say for sure one way or another.

I can: Amazon selling prices for BDs are available to all customers, with the minor exception that gold box deals are additional 5% discounts that are individualized. All of the price changes that showed up in my cart or the "saved for later" list have been the same as the prices available to everyone else.

Amazon Marketplace prices are highly variable because of the limited stock of most Marketplace sellers. As you know, sometimes people here confuse Marketplace prices with Amazon's own prices.

But all of this discounts the Manzana Matrix, which dictates that all stores are trying to screw him out of deals.

FWIW, I tend to see just as many price decreases when I add something to my cart as price increases.

The problem with these Warner/New Line catalog titles its that there's every likelihood they'll end up in those handy-dandy space-saving Blu-ray three-packs that have been turning up in increasing regularity for $15. I'd wager all three of these (plus recent stuff like EXECUTIVE DECISION, SOLDIER, OUTLAND et al) will be repackaged within a year. Also, Amazon turns on my laptop camera and watches me while I shop. It's unsettling.

I wish Amazon would post the correct AR on Blu-rays. Really is annoying and slows down my purchasing because I then have to research the title myself.

Make sure you guys remove those security strips inside the cases. That's how they track you.

Seriously, that's the first thing I do whenever I open a new Blu-ray. Do you think I have a problem?

Thanks! You might want to make a thread for just this, some people may not check this thread (or this post may get lost in it). That pre-order price is outrageous.

Security stickers, at least the little square plastic ones, should be removed. Over time, they can dislodge and end up sticking to the disc. Better to remove then when you first open the box than to run the risk of having it mess up a DVD or blu-ray.

Yes, the extended versions are now being sold separately, presumably with the exact same content as the ones in the boxed set.

^ Yeah, I couldn't figure out whether that poster was trying to "correct" something there or asking what it is.
