When setup this way, do your 'relatives' have any type of access to your account, or you theirs?

I would assume they do, but I'm also pretty sure you can place an order without saving your payment information on the account.

It doesn't work like that at all. you can ship to whomever and where ever. The only thing you see from the other person is their name, email, and DOB as you need it to confirm them and vise-versa. Also their wishlist if its public. that's it.

Sorry if answered already, but if you share a prime membership with family/friends that are at physical different locations will they all be able to use/access Amazon instant videos and other non-shipping perks?

^ According to this - http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...00444180#share - family members has to be living in the same household, but I guess people get around it by having their "coworkers" share?
Interesting about the roku streaming. You actually stream at your address and your parents at their address and all under the same prime account? According to Amazon it sounds like it should not work, but if I could stream to my TVs, BD players or gaming consoles while my "coworkers" do the same then sharing a prime membership would be a steal.

From what I remember (I share my Prime account with my wife) she just logs in with her email and Amazon password.

So does my wife but, if I recall correctly, only the primary account holder gets to stream movies/TV shows. That's what I was asking about. I haven't tried it but I don't think Amazon allows someone sharing a Prime account to stream.

Here's what the site says:

"Amazon Prime membership: Prime instant videos require an Amazon Prime membership and are not included with the free shipping benefits provided by Amazon Mom, unpaid Amazon Student membership, or if you are a guest of an Amazon Prime member"

Yes, only the original Prime member gets streaming. Also, some other things only apply too. My mom tried to get some free Kindle magazine subscription, but it did not allow her to because she wasn't the primary holder on the account.

Yes, you're absolutely right. I didn't know this until you mentioned it.

Thats what we do, only one person pays for it each year. Funny things is none of us wants it after this year.

Can easy get it free around Christmas time, its the only time I can see me using it now.

The Avengers 3D combo is down to $30.

If you pre-ordered with the $5 coupon a few months ago your order should reflect the difference. With the coupon, $25 was what I was comfortable paying so I'm happy. Hope it goes down a few more dollars.

Damn, I almost got super excited. A popular cashback site many of us use now offers 3% for Amazon, but NOT on movies or electronics. Only 4 categories...

Re: Amazon Blu-ray Discounts and Deals Thread #27

I was going to post that the deal is expired, but then I looked more closely. The highlighted price was $29.99 from MN Media, but then looking more closely the link for new copies said $9.95 and clicking on that link brought up Amazon at $9.95 and others.

Could it be any more confusing?
