Viet, I'm using bluray.com.

Theyre directly linked into Amazon's pricing reductions, although they seem to occur on Amazon faster than theyre reported on the site (I've purchased two items at their discounted price maybe 10 minutes before bluray.com listed them).

some of these are already gone - X-men First Class is no longer able to be ordered on amazon. I'm sure it'll pop back up but interesting to watch.

This is why I love Amazon's price matching on pre-orders!

But it sure better be a LOT better than DVD. I got pulled in on the theatrical/extended versions there and was not happy to have to rebuy for the extended. Learned my lesson after Fellowship.

Enjoy!
Most people can get that $10 to $15 back now by either selling the digital copies (as plenty seem to do) or go trade in your DVD copies of the Extended Editions for store credit elsewhere (as I'll do).

Here's the link you need, courtesy of bargain maven lizard:

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/deals....ll&country=usa

It lists price drops in reverse chronological order.

A veritable TON of titles are at new lows for the site (or have returned to previous lows) since midnight Pacific. As of this moment, you have to scroll through something like 28 pages at that link to see them all.

Still kind of disappointed in Amazon as I think last year they offered a lot of newer movies on sale than they are this year, but I have all week to watch for changes.

LOTR, Jurassic Park, Simpsons Season 20 and finally Transformers for $11.99; I guess I'm pretty happy.

Any idea if the LotR will go below $49.99?

Thanks to those who mentioned Beauty and the Beast: Criterion. I was tempted to upgrade during the last couple B&N sales, but $13 made it an easy pick-up.

I also had Super 8 in my Gold Box. After the $5 off coupon, I got it for $13.99. Wasn't a huge fan of the movie, but my dad has been wanting to see it and that's a very good price for release week.

The Blood Trilogy has actually been as low as $8.99.

Personally, I'm going to try to hold off on buying anything until Thursday or Friday. The last couple of years I have purchased items earlier, and I think every single one ended up going even lower come BF. After the Criterion sale and my splurging for the October Horror Movie Challenge, I'm going to *try* to make this a lighter BF than the last few years. We'll see how successful I am at that.

I'll hold off on Basket Case in the hopes that it drops to $8.99 and/or appears in my Gold Box - even $9.99 seems a bit much, fun as the movie is.

Would that also be the case for the lightning deals? I would assume they're a bit safer to buy right away?

I jumped on this also, at around 6:00 eastern time this morning. Even with the discounts available, I don't think I can top this price with the Barnes and Noble sale.

Upgrading Platoon for $9.99 as well. Order for both is now in "shipping soon" status.

Thank you!

I just placed an order for this, Evil Dead 2 and Beauty and the Beast (Criterion).

Aren't there two different slip covers for First Class? Hoping I get sent Magneto.
