- Trying to get through some of this https://www.icheckmovies.com/lists/h.../mightysparks/

2010: 28
2011: 176
2012: 306
2013: 182
2014: 158
2015: 144
2016: 43 (dropped out)
2017: 12 (dropped out, I guess, I don't even remember)

October 1
1. Krysar (1986) 7/10
Review/comments: Story is a bit of a drag at times, but there are some beautiful rhythmic montages in there. Really interesting animation and bleak world.

2. Chasing Sleep (2000) 7/10
Review/comments: Great hazy atmosphere.

October 6
3. Brain Dead (1990) 6/10
Review/comments: Outdated and super campy, sometimes fun but sometimes just a big groan-fest.

4. Mandy (2018) 6/10
Review/comments: Some if it was really intense, but it just wasn't believably angry enough for me to be completely drawn in.

October 7
5. The Damned (1962) 6/10
Review/comments: Catchy theme song, and interesting but all over the place.

6. Combat Shock (1984) 6/10
Review/comments: Good in an off-kilter kind of way, but it's amateurish is also what holds it back.

October 9
7. See No Evil (2006) 5/10
Review/comments: Liked how mean-spirited it was, but awful set of characters.

8. Carry on Screaming! (1966) 6/10
Review/comments: Oddly charming and enjoyable. I found Kenneth Williams way more fun to watch than I expected.

October 17
9. Case 39 (2009) 6/10
Review/comments: Really stupid at times and kind of awkward, but still somewhat entertaining.

October 19
10. Psycho III (1986) 5/10
Review/comments: Was a bit all over the place, but the ex-nun's subplot with Norman was interesting. Ending made it all pointless.

October 20
11. Digging Up the Marrow (2014) 6/10
Review/comments: Wish they'd spent a little less time building up the 'Adam Green reality' stuff and more on the monster stuff because those parts were much better.

12. Las brujas de Zugarramurdi (2013) 5/10
Review/comments: Not a fan of this style of Spanish comedy/horror but it wasn't the worst. Thought it rooted for the wrong people though.

13. Dave Made a Maze (2017) 6/10
Review/comments: Never really all came together, but great set design and quite fun.

October 21
14. See No Evil 2 (2014) 6/10
Review/comments: Liked this much more than the first. Just a generic slasher really that is an onslaught of attack, rest, attack, rest, but is still fun.

15. Night Train to Terror (1985) 4/10
Review/comments: Awful concept and execution. Alright to laugh at, but still just a confusing dull mess.

October 22
16. Petey Wheatstraw (1977) 6/10
Review/comments: Silly, but a really genuine sense of humour that constantly pokes fun at itself and winks at the audience that it's hard not to like.

October 23
17. Nine Dead (2010) 5/10
Review/comments: I'm always drawn to these movies and left severely disappointed. Stupid ending.

October 23
18. Demon (2015) 5/10
Review/comments: Some interesting parts, but just kind of fizzles out every time it gets interesting.

October 27
19. Patchwork (2015) 7/10
Review/comments: Not what I expected it all, really genuine fun time with interesting lead characters. TenTwentyTen is stuck in my head now.

Total = 19
