It's nice having new characters, but it seems like a new one every couple of weeks. Really wish they would slow it down to make it more special, but i guess whatever keeps the hardcore players playing and spending money...

Was surprised to see that essetnial nodes were over 3000 points for me yesterday, so I managed to grind my way through over 20,000 more points to get me to 40K to get the Steve Rogers cover. That makes me happy since i basically ignored the PVE all week.

I had to score 83,597 to get 123rd place in the PvE.

Their pace hasn't changed much. There are 40+ characters and the game has only been out for a year.

PvE event live for Blade cover.

If all I care about is placement awards for Blade cover, is it better to wait to start until the last day? I thought someone here did that in another event and placed high?

I missed out on the Ms Marvel 2* cover, i guess i'll have to try for Blade instead.

Seems like a lot new characters then when I first started playing the game. It seemed like no one new was added the first couple months I played.

Well I may take a chance on it for this one. I don't have time over the weekend to grind out pve anyway. Will see how I do on Monday.

PvE has been great for me so far. Point totals are crap by I pulled my 9th 3* cap and 4th Spider-man covers from tokens I've earned. Cap is level 114 now, getting very formidable.

I dont have 2* ms marvel for the PvE essential nodes so i'll miss out on blade which will cause me to probably miss out on girl thor. oh well. I need to start tanking some PvPs since i'm hitting teams double my levels around 500 points now while being ranked near 200

Now I see that need 2.5M ISO to raise my entire current roster to max levels. 5.5M total for full levels, including the covers I'm missing.

There is a release calander floating around on the offical forums. They have done a new character roughly every 2 weeks for a while. It just seems crazy now because it is much harder to fully cover a specific 3* when you are only gaurenteed placement rewards in PVP once a month or longer.

They really need to re-evaluate things, because for any new players it's just going to be even tougher to fully cover a character at this point, and it's only getting worse. I think the best way to handle it is give some options when getting a reward to pick different character covers.

I think it's only an issue if you're in an alliance. Because you have that added pressure to perform in events you otherwise wouldn't care about. Maybe they need to remove the alliance cover rewards or greatly loosen them from the top 1-2% (PVE-Season).

Not really, it sucks for anyone because it just means it takes even longer to progress characters. No one wants to be playing with characters that only have a few covers, regardless of if they are in an alliance.

Yes, but the drive to play very often with limited characters is diminished. You can focus on developing a small, solid roster rather than having to struggle to find space for a bunch of 1-2 cover characters.

Sure, except for by "focus" you mean relying solely on the RNG factor, which is pretty weak, and only getting worse!

Too lazy to search at the moment, but it depends on what "for a while" is, since like I said it didn't feel like this many when I started playing 280 some odd days ago.

Bagged my 2nd 2* Captain Marvel and my Blade cover from the PvE and enough people attacked me at the end of the Falcon PvP and lost to push me over and I got my 5th Beast cover. I've been having better luck with that lately. I've got between 5 and 9 covers for a lot of the three stars and people must not pay attention to it and figure I'm just using the loaner. Sucks for them when they get into it and figure out I have all three powers and 50 more levels then they thought I did.

EDIT: Thought this would be the one that broke the chain but I haven't missed out on a new character since I bagged my first Deadpool months ago.

I'd love to but but I can't meet those expectations. I usually do 300 to 500 points per PvP and I've only ever got 600 once. Plus I've got an alliance I started with my brother. Only six guys but I snagged a hell of a name when I made it.
