Same here, no rewards this morning either. You would think that should come fairly quickly. At least I got a couple of Bullseye covers in the last couple of days and my first modern Hawkeye (which I need to figure out what to do with because I have no room and my classic Hawkeye is level 22...I'll probably just dump classic in favor of the long run with the modern).

There's a riot going on in the developer's forum. People are losing their minds over the missing rewards.

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

Here's a fascinating 8-part article about Marvel Puzzle Quest written by the company's CEO. Each part is short and easy to follow. It goes into how their ongoing tweaks have improved revenue, kept things competitive and built up their user base. It's really interesting stuff.

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

The game seems to be fucked this morning too. My ranking in the Iron Man PVP event has been all over the place after every match. I played a dozen or so matches and my score didn't move as it should've for any of them. In the most bizarre instance, I lost a match and my points went up ~150, putting me in the top 10. I'm now back down to the 30's, after my points draining from winning several matches. I'm not getting any of the 'you were attacked' pop-ups and some of the swings have been too big & too fast to be that anyway, so not sure what's going on. I'll probably sit out the rest of the event if it's not going to work properly.

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

I guess the server issues from yesterday morning are still causing problems. Hopefully the rewards still show up and they didn't lose any data; makes me think their database servers are having issues.

There's a notice now about the delay in rewards logging in to the game.

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

They had to take the servers down for about 20 minutes today. And they warned that it might happen again in the next couple days while they try to fix the problems.

The servers were down for only about 20 minutes and came back up at approximately 11:20am EDT.

We may have periodic downtime like this over the next couple of days as we attempt to address some issues that are causing event rewards to be delayed and some people to not be able to connect to the server at all.

We will update here again once we know of any pending downtime.

Thanks again for your patience!!!

New update is cool. In the training menu of each character, it now tells you how much ISO you need to get your specific character to the max level. I think it is a button that takes you to the store to buy that iso. Kind of smart.

I got a pop up in the game saying that rewards for that are coming soon as well as rewards for another recently ended issue. They also extended the current event for a while because of the server issues.

I finally got my Oscorp rewards about 20 minutes ago. Both the individual and alliance rewards.

Opening another slot on the alliance will cost 1800 HP. I think that's around $10-$12.

If you're willing to spend the money, let us know. Maybe someone has the HP and can open a spot for you. Or we can put you on the waiting list for the next time someone buys an HP bundle.

Oh. I had no idea being in an Alliance cost actual money. I'll just trudge on solo then.

it costs money, but what you gain is more than worth it. we've usually finished in top 500 of every community event, which nets you 50 coins. there are usually about 3-4 events per week. so at that pace, you can pretty much gain back everything you spent w/in about a month.

I just spent a 100 coins on a heroic cover and got a doom. First gold cover I've gotten since the last update. Kinda makes up for getting nothing on my 10 cover pack.

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

For the solo missions, is there any rhyme or reason to the rewards? There are certain missions where I can play them four times and get all four rewards, and other missions where I'm stuck at 1 reward out of 4 no matter how many times I play it. I just did one battle against Juggernaut in the prologue that I must have done 20 times now and all I ever get is that damned 20 ISO even though there are supposedly 3 other awards available for that mission.

I had the same problem on at least one mission. I was trying to get the Thor cover. But for about two dozen straight matches, all I keep getting was 20 ISO. Eventually I got the Thor covers through other events and just gave up.

Re: Marvel Puzzle Quest: Dark Reign

Are 2 Star heroes ever used as one of the "required" heroes for an event mission? I'm having a hard time justifying keeping so many heroes around that I never use, and of course fighting over slots for other heroes.

not that I recall, but many of the 2 star characters are powered up in those events. like the last one, OBW, Thor and Ares were all powered up. Might want to hang onto some of them just in case. I've got 30 characters and have pretty much everyone I want/need, so I'd only sell one if I got a character I've yet to receive (new Daken, Nick Fury).

Okay, thanks. Went ahead and sold Moonstone then. I wish I could get some covers for OBW, I'd love to dump Modern.

4-Star covers are nice to look at. But you never get enough of them to make the character useful.

While i would agree, there have been wolvie only events that I couldn't do part of because I didn't have the x force cover.
