47min to go, 108th place with 55,234 points. Huge grind, people want Colossus bad.

Ended with 56595 fucking thing destroyed the shit out of me my last two matches, ended 157th!

It makes a difference when you join as well... I joined like a day late or so, and only needed 51161 to get top 150 (obviously people had less time to grind so the total scores were lower, but that works to your advantage because you grind less and the nodes are a little more palatable around the end). Still had to work my tail off and use two of my saved health packs to get in the top 150, mainly because 3* Thor kept getting killed.

I was using 3* Thor as well and yet the computer kept using Call the Storm against me.

Yeah, I'm officially burned out on this. I know people have said PVP groupings are about placement in previous events and not your character levels, but bs on that. I've barely played the last several weeks and continue to get put in groups where nearly all of my matches are all maxed 3* teams from the get go. I went ahead and spent my ISO reserves to take 3* Thor as high as I could with 12 covers. I'll probably keep playing a round or two a day for the rewards and may make an effort for the occasional event, but I'm done with the daily grinding that I've done for most of the past 6 months.

Nothing like drinking too much and passing out before getting a chance to play the last hour. D'oh!

I was on vacation and busy at work during the last month so i didnt even end up getting the 10 heroic pack from Season 5. I didnt even get the 3* thor cover from the Jug event that just ended. Now when i end up having time to play, i'll be stuck with a PvE that require Colossus and Nick Fury

maxfisher, I think you're missing a key element of PvP. You need to lose matches. Badly. So at the beginning of an event (if you don't draw early and get the cupcakes), take the default hero and your two lowest guys and play against the toughest draw. And lose. You'll lose zero or a few points, but keep at it, and eventually you should get some 2*s.

But 3* Thor with 12 covers should be really good anyway, so a worthy investment (hopefully you have more yellow and green than red, though).

Just when I think I'm out, this game pulls me back in with a Nick Fury cover. Damn it!

You totally could have told him he'd been booted and he'd have bought it... 4* Wolverine is an absolute killer. Faced him in the new event, he killed my whole team in about 45 sec. After they were dead, he hit me with two more Surgical Strikes, two more 5 star critical cascades and used a Black Panther team up Battleplan. Getting kind of ridiculous.

Got my Heroic Token for my 14,000 point reward and pulled a blue Nick Fury!

I got a 4* wolv with my 14k heroic. i dont think i can make it to 20K to get colossus with only 12 hours left. The opponents do too much damage and dont award enough points now.
I finally got a mohawk store from the pvp a day or two ago

Got my Colossus this morning. Fully leveled yellow power out in front of grey suit Storm and Fishnets Black Widow would be absolutely brutal. So glad I'm done. Might try for another cover in the pvp event.

i got a nick fury from a golden coin today. seems to be going around.

Got top 150 in the Deadpool event because it was such low hanging fruit so I'll bag a red Punisher and 25 hero points to go with the Nick Fury and Colossus I already got yesterday. Good haul this week. I've got a good shot at getting my second Colossus cover from the Children of the Atom event because I lollygagged and didn't join the event until today so I got stuck in a bracket with a bunch of filthy casuals. Beat a bunch of people including our own WilliamTBunny (sorry) and got up to 300 points.

I grinded out the deadpool PvE and finally got a Colossus and then got my first Deadpool cover from a random heroic. Not sure if i'll be able to pull out another colossus cover from the current PvP; the pool i'm in seems pretty strong. I am rocking lots of teams with my 2* team of Wolv, Mags, and Mod Hawkeye. Quick shot is pretty fun. The computer sucks at playing as this team, though.

I had to drop a character to make room and i was looking at 2*s to sell and noticed my newest one, Daken (level 62), would give me Iso and HP if I sold him. I had never gotten HP before for selling a character. And it was like 350 HP.

They tend to do that when they nerf a hero. CMags is selling for HP too. And, FWIW, I would have kept 2* Daken unless your 3* has a lot of covers. I love my Daken when partnered with a green user like Thor, Ares, or Wolv. He is even good with OBW and the feature since OBW's black passive does extra damage when strikes are on the board.

I can built him up again, i wasnt too invested in him.

Nope. Only thing that limits your slots is HP and if you want to spend $$ on it.

I've got 34 roster spots right now and to get my 35th would cost me 450HP so thy start to get pricey. Slots are the only thing I've bought in this game with real money but I'm balking at the moment. Junked my 2* Johnny Storm to make room for Colossus and sold my 6 Modern Hawkeye covers rather than adding him.

Got a spot (possibly two) open in "AW Reloaded" if anyone is interested in joining. Only real requirement is to get 600 points in each PVP (but we know shit comes up). As long as the alliance gets top 100, no one will say anything (although it all builds to season 6 score).
