I was camping this weekend and missed out on deadpool. I keep getting bugged out matches where the computer chains a bunch of attacks together they dont have the AP for. Like 5 attacks, 2 team ups in the 3rd round. its annoying since i loose the match and then have to use health packs or wait a while.

I think this game cheats. I had a match where the computer got 9 of the environment tiles. Ok, so they could use one of their cards. Nope. I got 2 in a row against it. And I know for a fact one of those environment cards cost at least 7 tiles. There's no way they could chain two of them together.

It's definitely screwy with the team ups. I've had quite a few matches where it fired one off on the second or third turn without having matched any environments.

I also HATE goons generating AP in levels with characters who can swap tiles. The last event was absurd with the Magneto/Iron Man level on hard, as the goon kept giving them all the blue and yellow they needed to spam shields. I'd have 5-6 turns where I was doing 1 damage each time, trying to get enough AP for a move.

Yeah, the balance is way off. Another issue is that if you're in a match with tile-swappers and goons, and you kill the tile-swappers first, the goons can still use team-ups. It's bullshit.

That is a known bug that they are going to fix.

I think I am done with this until they fix this bullshit with these team ups. It is never ending use of them. I just had a match where my entire team got wiped out in one swoop. One special power used and 2 team ups used. 3 special moves used back to back to back. My team was much stronger, but couldn't withstand the bullshit.

yeah, i had the same happen. i played 3 games yesterday afternoon and lost 2 of them to lower powered teams! I'm not going to grind for anything or use shields (if i could even get to a shieldable rank) until the bug is fixed.

Have any of you guys ever done one of the buy-in events? I can't even imagine a scenario where it would be worth it.

I did it a few weeks ago. I think I won two Heroic tokens, a bunch of ISO and about half my HP back.

Is Deadpool's passive black not working properly for anyone else? In the trigger situations, he'll jump to the front and take damage, but he never generates a countdown tile to gain health back. It's starting to feel like their quality control is nosediving, which is unfortunate.

With the current crappiness going on, I'm not even shooting for top 25 in the current PVP, but am still trying to get top 100 so that I can have at least one cover for each of Deadpool's powers, as I already have a red and black. Not sure if I'll hit the 40k for an extra red in the PVE or not. The grinding is getting ridiculous on that one.

If you find that you are grinding too much on PvE, there is a really good PvE guide on the offical forum you should check out. It has a lot of good tips.

Thanks for sharing. Great insight into how to get the most points with limited play time. The biggest things I took away are try to let the timers for all of your nodes/levels get to full power and beat one node a couple times before moving on to another. I had no idea there was a multiplier based on how many nodes are at full power and would usually jump from one to another instead of playing the same one a couple times.

There is also a rubberbanding effect towards the end of the event. If you are really behind the leader, the values go up. If you only care about the progression rewards (like I do), wait until the last 5-6 hours of an event, do each node once or twice and then come back with an hour to go and do the highest point nodes as fast as you can.

what a joke. the only 3* is one I've already maxed out. i get to keep 2 2* human torches and a hawkeye. fuck that.

I got my 40K points today, and my 4th Deadpool cover. So glad that grind is over, not spending another second on that. Two hours to go in Tex-Mex event, 3rd place and shielded. Hopefully that holds up and I get three 3* Human Torch covers! I've been having lousy luck with tokens too, Deftones. Nothing but 2* cap, storm, thor and hawkeye. Three good ones all maxed out the way I want them and I sell all derivations of Hawkeye.

I really need to tank some PvP events. I havent been able to rank better than 150-200 in the last several. I cant grind out the deathpool cover from the PvE event since i dont already have a DP cover and miss out on the big points fights.
I'm also stuck with a bunch of Capt America's yellow shield power team up cards. they take way too many team up points to use so i havent been able to use them

I earned the DP progression reward after I won one in the DP PvP event and after the global point total was reached in the PvE event. I went from 33k to 40k in one sitting after the secret hideaway opened up as alot of the nodes were paying 1000+.

Same way I did it Gooter. I don't know if I'd have made it otherwise because I didn't care all that much about a fourth Deadpool cover. Got confirmation today that the 2* johnny storm will never be needed for anything ever again since I pulled one from a standard token.

Even though I don't have 3* HT of my own, I've made my way to the top tier of my current PVP group. Started to get attacked late last night as I was supporting a work implementation until 2am, shielded for 8 hours while I slept and woke up to a +38 defense to push me back to #4.

Hoping I can stay in the top 25 because I really do want that final green cover for Grey BW. I think that will revolutionize my Hulk/GBW/Thor team for all the anger/purple/yellow green generation.

I'm so pissed at this game right now. Enemy team keeps railing off special attacks they don't have AP for and every single team up used against me is a super premium one they also don't have the points for. I'v enever seen Nick Fury so much in my life. I've had the Avengers assembled against me three damn times today. I had the enemy make one move and Thor Called The Storm against me twice off that.

I complained about it in the team forum, but yeah the cheap cascades (they sure don't seem random!) and the free team ups the computer gets are ridiculous, especially when it's Sentry or Nick Fury every single time. Meanwhile, I have to intentionally keep weak opponents alive in the storyline mode so that I can shoot off crappy yellow cap or similary expensive team ups so that they don't bog me down, because I never get to use them in game. Also upsetting are the use of team ups when there are only non cover characters on the opposing team in PvE.

3* Magneto is still the closest I have to a third max covered three star, but at this point I've been too afraid of a nerf to invest a lot of Iso in him beyond what I already have...

I'm currently in 4th place in the Season IV event with a 600 point buffer between my and the 5th place player. If the event ended today, that would give me 30 2 star tokens. I bet I don't get a single usable cover in the whole batch. I got nothing out of the first 10 pack I received after reaching 5,000 points and I've had zero luck over the last month with any other 2 star packs I've collected.

Your current score of 7,321 would get you maybe top-400 in my group. 5th place in mine is 16,063. I'm 541st place at 7,034 currently.

I thought i was in an easier group for the human torch PvP since i got up to rank #17 yesterday but over night i lost almost 200 points and fell to rank 120. I got back to under 100 and threw on a shield in the last couple hours so i'd get something at least. I'm at the point where I dont care what i get as long as its a 3*, haha.

Ended #17 in Hotshot so I will be able to finalized my Grey BW build the way I want for this next PVP.

But, of course, the rewards there are for 3* Spider-Man which I do not care about (purple already maxed, top-5 blue out-of-reach), so I'll probably just settle for top 200 to get a red 2* Human Torch cover to bring my build to 4/4/5 (though I'd prefer 5/3/5 ultimately, I think).
