Honestly, playing NFS Rivals with 30 fps kind of bothered me after playing a lot of Forza 5 with 60fps (and baked lighting ). You can really tell the difference in racing games.

You can tell the difference in racing games. I just wish Forza 5 was as much fun as NFS Rivals.

I love how the new app update allows you to use any photo you have as your profile picture. I hated the very limited options. Goodbye 8-ball...

From your phone, yes. Any photo. Stand by for penises.

I threw up a Destiny logo for mine yesterday as a test. Super easy.

oh, I see I didn't catch the part that it was from the app

so if I upload a new pic from the app on my tablet does that icon transfer over so it is now the viewable icon/avatar for my username on the console itself .... or can I only see that new icon/avatar via the app?

It's your PSN avatar across all platforms.

No worries.

On the app, go to Profile > Edit Profile > Change Profile Picture > and pick either Take Photo or Select Photo

Assuming you already have a photo you want, it will probably take under a minute.

Spelunky coming to PS4 in 1080p...with cross buy!

If you already bought Spelunky on PS3 and Vita, thank you so much! You’ll also own the game on PS4 when it comes out, since we’re including it as part of cross buy. But if you don’t have it on console yet, the PS4 version launch would be a great time to see what it’s all about, since you’ll also get the game on PS3 and PS Vita

That seems to be the case. When I log into PSN, I still see my old Ratchet avatar.
It makes sense to not fill up the message boards and blog comments with pictures of genitalia.

From that site:
Fun fact, you can also add PS3 backward compatibility to the PS4 using only a roll of duct tape and a PlayStation 3 system. Separate instructions to follow.

What does "Disable HDCP" mean?
