musick: If you played through Killzone very close to launch, you're right: it's not the same game. There have been a ton of patches that have helped to shore up the game's weaker stretches. FWIW, I really enjoyed the game even before those patches, although the design did start to fall apart around the seventh set of levels.
I thought the campaign was awful
now I know campaign isn't why people play these games but I thought 2 and 3 were better (other than the forced mindless profanity in 2)
I didn't give MP much of a go (but what I did seemed very different from the KZ I remembered and loved) since I only rented it but if you say that part is better than when it launched I'll take your word on it .... I thought MP in 2 and 3 was my favorite in terms of FPS's
I got Killzone along with BF4 and Knack at the same time. Between all the games going along with getting hooked on Warframe and picking up Infamous I only did the first two levels. I just got back into staying with it probably in the last two weeks so I can trade it in. There has been numerous updates and in fact a whooping1067mb last night I got. I wouldn't mind giving the MP a shot but Wolfenstein and Watch Dogs are around the corner. Still a good game to me...and this is coming from someone who came from the 360 and played every Halo and Gears. Visually it was stunning and even the most diehard Halo fans would have been envious.
but hey I was never one blown away by the 360 games you mentioned to ever think I was missing out on anything .... as noted above really am not impressed by what I have seen of Destiny either

There were a good number of campaign changes. I remember at least one that specifically addressed issues I had late in the game with a lack of clarity on where to go / what to do. If I weren't on my phone right now, I'd copy/paste the update notes.

The only thing I can find for changes to the campaign was 1.09 which added many more checkpoint save points (a welcome change, I'm sure -- so often I had to play the same segment over and over and over again).

There were some single player bug fixes pretty recently, if you count that.
- The end section of single-player campaign chapter 7, "Secure the Target," has been shortened based on player feedback.
- In single-player campaign chapter 8, "Outcast," the collision ceiling has been raised to allow players to fly over certain buildings, instead of crashing into them. This should result in less overall player deaths.

October's PS+ game then? Nice.
Hopefully the 11 month delay made the game better, but honestly, I'm still pretty happy with NFS Rivals.
Hashtag isn't on the cover. Slightly longer version of trailer with cover at 2:00, FWIW:

Yup, hashtag is gone; title is now DRIVECLUB. Here's the PS Blog post.
I preordered the full version from Kmart this weekend. I wasn't going to, but due to some mistake or other, they gave away $50 in SYWR points with the $60 pre-order. So for about $15 net (including tax), I'll get the full game with all the cars and tracks as well as an extra 3 months of PS Plus (that should be included in the package -- assuming that hasn't changed). They killed the deal within minutes of me getting my order in.

I just saw on the list of features that it will allow changes to the light bar on the controller, including a "dim" setting. I'm hoping "dim" means pretty much "off".

The current setting is the "dim" setting. The new options allow you to make it even brighter.
