Debating purchasing the Frink egg generator(s).
I dropped some eggs in a basket last night...not much of a return. Hilarious how the game acknowledges the possibility of a bunch of crappy prizes.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I've gotten 3 boxes of golden eggs. An easter gate, some tiny eggs, a beach blanket and umbrella. Nothing great thus far.

For anyone playing on Kindle, it looks like Amazon has a promotion where you get free Coins when you buy donuts -- and you get them even if you use Coins to make the purchase. In other words, if you buy a $10 donut pack, you get 500 Coins, which you can use for a $5 pack, which gets you 250 more Coins that you can use for some Golden Scratchers.
I had 2000 coins I got as part of some promotion last month, and I managed to get almost 700 free donuts.
I have no idea how long the promotion lasts, but it'll tell you how many free Coins you're getting before you hit the confirmation button.

I had my people on 24-hour tasks when the event started so I haven't actually cashed in any boxes yet but I like the prizes listed. I also think I'm going to splurge on Crazy Cat Lady.
I got two donuts while tapping others' towns!

Finally got Stampy!
Other than that not liking this event. Its like too much work, and there are not community prizes, right?
The worst part is that there are not secure prizes, the ones that you used to get after certain amount of collectables.
I'm still not sure if I completely understand this event though.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
So against my better judgement, I installed this game today to check it out. Have a question... anytime I click on the "build something" button ... it defaults to showing me the new stuff I can build. That I need to be like, level 30 or have $10000000 cash for. Then I have to manually swipe the list ALLLLLLLLLL the way back to the beginning to see something I can actually afford. I can't seem to find any button to automatically go to the front of the list. Am I missing something obvious?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
So it looks like neighbors can't actually give me any eggs unless they do the basket-switch thing? I bought two but so far no one's bothered to use them.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Some people are angry about buying the baskets. The baskets are not permanent. Once filled and collected, they disappear. And the bunnies will drop baskets from time to time.

My Krustyland is swarmed with bunnies but I can't tap them, is this the way it is supposed to be?

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Heck if I'm spending donuts on another one. I did find one in my inventory, presumably from a bunny.I used someone else's basket, but I think I did it in reverse, trading my good eggs for bad.
At least now I know.Yeah, the chocolate bunnies in Krustyland appear to be decorations like bunnies in neighboring towns.

Important Easter Quest Line tip:
If you're in need of XP or in-game $$$, plant corn at Cletus' Farm prior to Part 8 of the quest line.
Part 8 adds a new crop -- carrots for bunnies -- to the farm and in doing so completes whatever crop is growing to the clear the farm.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Suggestion: Folks with blue and pink baskets might want to set them a bit apart so it's easier to tap the color you want. I went to one town and the three baskets were in a row alternating colors. I shied away, but the next town had the same arrangement so I figured I could hit the right one. I missed it and traded in the wrong color eggs.

I haven't even seen a gold egg yet.
Is there a way to get a basket that doesn't cost donuts? If not, lame.

^ I've gotten two baskets from tapping bunnies.
Haven't had any good prizes yet, but at least the Easter fences look nice around the Wolfcastle mansion.

I checked this thread 25 minutes before the start of Part 8, if this works, you're my new hero.
