Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
So Thursday was rumored as the most likely day of the week for Squidport, and now that's passed.
But I'm still working on the Level 30 military quest so I guess it's not a huge loss. Especially not for dogmatica, apparently.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I'm still working on the level 30 question (lots of 24-hour tasks here), and I just finished off an XP level, but it really feels like we're in a holding pattern. I hope we don't have to wait till this Thursday for Squidport.

Just got Herman's store. Seems like money is coming like crazy now that I have more characters.

Yep, if you do 4 hour tasks or so, combined with the 8-12 hr tasks overnight, you should be able to get close to $100K every day.
I'm also getting the XP bonus, 3 donuts, every week.

Spoiler alert!
I finished the quest last night and am satisfied with it, but am in even more of a holding pattern now.
I wouldn't say "easy," but there are probably more ways to get them now than there used to be. Also, the recent snake update, while a PITA, provided opportunities for some "free" buildings and characters. Squidport is supposed to be coming soon.

I am now raking in cash, and going back to build the stuff I hadn't before. things like Pimento Grove and a few other non-essential buildings.

5 million and counting, escalator, skyscraper, magnifying glass and all for sale land purchased. <---- This is what happens when you play everyday since September.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Pimento is not essential but it's a 24-hour build so I like to tap it in neighboring towns when I get the chance.
I'm sitting on about three million in cash in anticipation of good things in Squidport.

I'll confess I've slacked off somewhat since Whacking Day ended, but I still play multiple times per day and I am still cash-strapped. Maybe it's because I'm still climbing the ladder to Level 30, but it seems like I get new building opportunities quicker than I can get the cash to pay for them (and the land to put them on).

Finally got something good out of the Mystery Box that you get for checking into the game 5 days in a row. I got the Squeaky Voice Teen. Better than the trees, bushes, and fences I got before.

I broke down a month ago and started a blue house farm. Don't know how many or how much I rake in. Downside is my town looks like shite. LOL I keep telling myself when I get all the land I will start organizing my town up real nice.

I got 10 donuts 2 days ago, in my mystery box. But then something happened and my game crashed. I restarted and lost all changes in the last 2 minutes, so another mystery box... And a tree now.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Does anyone else have connectivity issues going to other people's Springfields? It is rare that I have much of a problem in the main game, but when I try to go to others' towns, especially those at very high levels, I have a lot of difficulty. What usually happens is that the game will automatically close shortly after I select a city or not long after arriving there. Even if I successfully go to one town, it almost always restarts when I try going to another town. It's really frustrating.
