Maybe the slow realization that they now know when that $499 debit will hit their accounts?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you own an Xbox and do not subscribe to Xbox Live, you're barely using half of the consoles potential. There's no reason to not spend the $30-$60 a year. It's a non issue. Same goes for the PS3/4 and PS+.

this coming from a guy who doesn't pay for games.

I'm excited! Taking that day off of work as well. Now I have off the 15th (for the PS4), the 22nd (for Xbox One) and the 28th - 1st for Thanksgiving. I'm ready

It's also factually incorrect. You can do about 95% of everything PS4 can do without PS+. The only thing missing is online multiplayer for games that aren't F2P.

You've established you're not getting an XO. So why are you constantly in this thread?

Reminds me of Tim Whatley in Seinfeld.

Isn't it obvious? Because it is entertaining. That is why this thread has sooo many more posts and views than the PS4 one.

I'm sure Amazon and all the other retailers will change to reflect the new date. The old one was just a placeholder. I'm glad it's coming out on a Friday. I'll know I'll be home to sign for it, which is a plus.

Yeah, they do an authorization hold for the amount.

Yeah. The downside for me is that UPS usually doesn't deliver to my house until very late afternoon/early evening, so part of me is thinking about getting these consoles delivered to my office (where UPS shows up around 11 AM) and just going home once they show up. :)

. . .

Take this with many grains of salt, but Digital Trends is reporting on a rumor that "US Xbox One buyers may receive a free game after all".

Well if still some left on Friday then I will get one then

Well that's an additive isn't it?

Also,
Spoiler:
I didn't want to rub it in.

More rumors of a free game for North America. Still doubt it will happen but would gladly take it, probably stick us with Ryse :)

If the free game is one I might purchase anyway, I could be swayed to get both consoles in November.
