Delays: If you think that's really about "localization", I have a bridge to sell. It's just a good thing the countries making Battlefield, Mirror's Edge, Witcher and Minecraft aren't included.

Promotions to keep you playing on 360 later into the year: Looks customer friendly but is connected to delays in Europe. There are more delays to come, and they can't have you buying a PS4.

The pitch for delays will be "changes for gamers take time"...but really tied to yield problems from putting CPU/GPU/ESRAM on a single large chip. There's an amazing thread about it on NeoGaf with a seemingly legitimate "Deep Throat" who actually posts in code to avoid detection. X1s will be scarce this year...think PS2 launch.

Sunday Ticket: For once, I'm sorry to be right...deal would have to be with DTV rather than NFL. Wish somebody would have gotten it though...maybe after DTV contract ends next season. Is it possible MS paid not to get it on their own system but just to get if off of Sony's? Who pays $400M for fantasy football updates?

When I'm hands on with both consoles in a few weeks, I'm personally going to take a photo of my penis laid across the PS4 and personally PM it to him.

And then have Sony escort me out of the building and be arrested for indecent exposure, but it will have been worth it for the internet karma as I'll be posting the same thing to Reddit shortly after.

Love how you guys make it about me and give me a hard time but hardly ever circle back to say "He has a point there..." or "He got that one right..."

I'll stick around to represent whatever foil you need me to, but I refuse to get caught up in the personal aspects of it...even when you attack me rather than what I post.

If this is true, won't the PS4 suffer from the same yield problems and delays? Or is it the 32MB of eSRAM in the Xbox One that overcomplicates things?

It's not a matter of overcomplication, but rather a matter of sheer physical space, and yes, it's the ESRAM. I don't claim to be an expert on manufacturing chips, but as I understand it, Sony went with a smaller and simpler design which resulted in more chips per "pressing" and fewer defects. They put their money into a more powerful GPU and unified memory.
