Well, considering that most Xbox fans literally slobbered over their 360s and rant at how great they are and assumed that the Xbox One would follow suit, I thought that the order of words was most appropriate. The "We've come full circle" part is to signify that the hardcore fans are getting very close to believing again that MS will once again reign supreme.

But the thread is about the One and the hatred about MS initial policies which have now changed to the perceived handjobs.

While the PS4 crowd has been in full circle jerk mode and flipping off the One since E3.

And 360 fans haven't bashed the shit out of Sony for the past several years? MS got everything they deserved for their arrogance and lack of understanding towards their own loyal fan base. Sony got what they deserved by being late with their last console and pricing it a bit too high. However, the PS3 was a great blu ray player the first few years it was out (and still is) and gave me gaming options to boot. MS's attitude this time around was "This is what we have. You are going to take it and you're going to like it." Then they realized that people were not going to take it and definitely didn't like it.

Have been really busy today and didn't check the forum. Came and saw four new pages (newbie mode forever!) and got excited about a new announcement...


Because it's really hard to pull it. Apple has been trying for a long time, Microsoft has tried in the past, not Xbox related, even Google tried.

So, I won't dismiss Sony, but I will wait until all the details are announced to get excited about anything.


BTW, right now the only game I have preordered is FIFA 14... for the Xbox 360. Not sure how many people are waiting for the release date announcement to make any preorders.

Given how seriously people are taking these launches, I figured some levity on both sides would be helpful. I changed the Xbox thread to "We Said WHAT at E3" and I also broke off the Ridiculous Dicks comment into its own thread. I'm not trying to please any particular person or piss off anyone else. So don't take it personally.

I think the titles and jabs at the consoles are funny for the most part. I really don't get why anyone on here would take it personal as I highly doubt that any of us profit from either system. In fact, we all take financial losses because of both of these companies. Damn them!

Which is goddamn hilarious, I say. Actually, I think all of the title changes have been pretty funny.

So I have both the PS4 and the xbox one pre ordered via amazon. Amazon is showing a delivery date of November 27th. Do we have a date for the ps4 or will we know on the 20th

We don't have a date for either console yet, but supposedly the release date for the PS4 will be revealed at Gamescom.

Out of the top three games people are looking for....COD:Ghosts, BF4 and AC:Black Flag...COD for the current gen is showing 11/05/2013 and AC:Black Flag at 10/29/2013. BF4 has no offical release date and none for the PS4 and XO.

Many have said the thought is both systems releasing either late October or mid Novemeber. Hopefully all this will clear up in the next few days for both systems. And with the release dates being known, I'm hoping for some better pre-order bonus with games like those above.

Bf4 is 10/29 as well.

I was going off the Best Buy site....they're not showing a release date for the 360 or PS3 copies. Thanks for the correction.

Starts at 12:45; recommend watching in highest definition possible. It's the E3 build, so it's a bit rough around the edges, and they are just playing with bots, and they could only film off of the TV, but there are a ton of little details about the console and controller in there. Also, the game actually looks kind of fun. I didn't know it had mechs.

A few notes:

- Target is "at launch", so you'll have at least one F2P game at launch
- All settings on high...best it can possibly look.
- Touchpad is clickable on both sides (as in right click/left click, I assume)
- Video shows pinch to zoom and rotate with the touchpad
- Also shows how the menu is "pinched" on and off screen...pretty neat
- Having Vita Remote Play is part of certification process for all PS4 games
- Exclusive on PS4 "for a while", which probably means X1 in 6 months to a year
- Light on the controller has the potential to be obnoxious depending on your setup...hope they firmware an on/off for that thing

I thought Blacklight, Warframe and Drive Club were F2P at launch? Black tape works wonder in blocking light.

From what I've seen, Blacklight, Warframe and War Thunder are "targeting" launch, but I don't think anybody has said anything definitive. SOE has also said Planetside 2 is targeting "at or near" launch, but nothing announced beyond that. They'll all be playable without PS Plus, and they'll probably all make their way to X1 except for Planetside 2.

Drive Club isn't exactly a F2P game in the traditional sense, but it will be "free" with PS Plus and it is a planned launch title.

I'm anxious to see this light on the controller. The way it's angled I just can't see it being all that distracting.

I've been playing the WiiU more and I've grown to like the controller light glowing when a friend hops on over the pop up on screen. It'd be nice if both PS4 & X1 would do something similar.

One other nice thing is the speaker. Do either have a speaker?
