That said, I think the bank should be much larger.

Did you have to level up any or simply just sart up, fire up the second controller and bring in the other character?

Yeah got it earlier today, it does have pretty good Recharge Rate so I kept it.

curious about this game as I never played the original and the gameplay looks interesting but is there any value in this game not playing it online?>

The game is a blast single player. It's just even more fun with more people.

I played through probably 80-90% of both games single player.

First playthrough was almost entirely SP. Hunter mode I'm doing almost entirely online, with at least 2 more people, randoms, to get more XP.

It's different, but both are a lot of fun.

New patch supposedly fixes the BAR reset. User on CAG already said he was hit with a reset AFTER installing the patch. I guess backing up to USB is still in order.

Details on fixing the BAR reset

That being said, I noticed no change in any of my stats. Of course I didn't have them all memorized either. I guess I'll have to take them at their word.

Even a level one character has a backpack, but it's kind of small. So yeah, you could just bring one in.

In my case, he was just an abandoned character, but if you wanted to create a "mule", you'd just need to play him up to the point where he gets access to the safe in sanctuary (around level 10), and you could take him along for farming runs to earn enough eridium to level up his backpack and safe since most bosses drop eridium.

This is about what I expected them to do. Hopefully they check every time you continue and not just once. Otherwise, we run into the risk of it happening again AND having your save say it's already been checked.

The Bee is crazy. Equip that with a weapon mod, let's say shotgun, and stuff is just annihilated.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

FWIW...I played Halo 4 last night with three others, two which are "friends". One has had a Level 50 Maya for a good amount of time and just going around with another person also Level 50 completing challenges.

We got to talking about...weapon drops...mainly good stuff be it Orange & Purple. I told her this second playthru that about 90% of drops, chests and cabinets has been nothing but White & Green, 9% Blue and 1% Purple with zero Orange. Funny thing is she said they've got the same...the bulk being White & Green.

Both of us played the first Boraderlands and firmly agree that in the first one you got far more higher rated stuff in Orange & Purple than in this game. She also said the last two bosses have been nothing short of a pain and they have yet won at. But even so they've done the battle with "Mr T" a few times and as far as weapon drops...not even close to what the Big Craw dropped in the first game.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

Nice! I'm going to start a new character as they would go to waste on my level 50. I guess a new code is as good of an excuse as any.

If anyone wants a big dump of orange, let me know. I only have one low level 30 sniper, the rest are 50's. Off the top of my head:

bee with 4 second recharge

guns

2 conference calls, one with corrosive
purging infinity
a few volcanoes
binary thunderball fists
skullmasher
flakker
nuke
baby maker
pitchfork
madhouse
slagga
bitch
shredifier
deliverance

Not even sure what to farm at this point. If anyone needs some, my psn is randomgarbage

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

Well the weapon drops continue to basically...suck. At level 50, both of us did my last two "Main Missions"...killing Jack and going after "Mr. T". Between the two....not a single Orange drop and a couple of Pinks of which not a single weapon but either Mod, Relic or Grenade. Of course "White & Green" stuff dime-a-dozen with some so-so Blue scattered.

Not only that the game froze after "Mr. T" and had to restart putting me back at going thru a second time. Even after beating "Mr. T" again the drops were about the same...unimpressive and not worth keeping anything. As to date a Level 50, 35 and 19 characters...Total 2 Orange with most of the "Pink" bought with Gold Keys". Just pathetic compared to the first game....

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

Not all were Pink but about 1/3. The problem was they would be good fo only a few levels (Weapons/Guns) before moving them down. So far though about half were guns and the other half mods, shields, grenades and relics. If it weren't for some good Mods, I'd probably die twice as much as I had prior to reaching Level 50.

Thanks Deftones, I figured there must have been a code posted when I saw you and K&A sign on right before kickoff.
