Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

I have the legendary class mod for the siren, and it's pretty crazy too. Along with similarly crazy stats, it adds cooldown rate and gun damage and as a perk gives you increased movement speed when you have enemies in phase lock.

My efforts lately have been focused on getting lower level orange weapons. I have a great collection of absurd level 50 guns, but given that you can't use them until level 50, they really aren't all that useful for future characters. They are more like trophies than they are actually useful items.

Over the weekend, I obtained the following:
  • A bladed Jacobs "Striker" shotgun, Level 21 (shotgun with almost no spread and bonus critical hit damage)
  • A Hyperion "Bitch" SMG, level 27 or so (near instant accuracy, high damage for the level and a big critical bonus)
  • A Tediore "Deliverance" shotgun, level 20 (when thrown, it chases enemies like a homing missile...hilarious)
  • A Bandit "Bone Shredder" SMG, level 28 (this one is actually purple, double shots = absurd fire rate, but not accurate)
  • A Vladof "Shredifier" machine gun, level 23 (high fire rate, low accuracy = meh)
  • A Hyperion "Grounded Bee" shield, level 27 (everybody knows the Bee, but it's awesome to have one at this level...devastating with the Striker, Bone Shredder or Bitch above)

For those who have been playing with me, Lee and I got the Bee in the epic highlight of the weekend. We were just cruising around doing side quests and talking about how to get orange stuff, and we happened to be near Hunter Helquist, so I thought I'd show him the guy who drops the Bee so he could maybe farm it later. Damned if he didn't drop it the first time we killed him! I have a couple of level 50 (or so) Bees, but I was pretty excited to get one at this low level.

I didn't get my first good SMG until the other night during the Ore Chasm slaughter(I'm a level 37). I used the Energizing Bane for a bit, but the gimped mobility kills the fun. I also tipped Moxxie too late to get any benefit from the SMG she gives you.

I used the Bane for just long enough to chuckle at it...same for Moxxie's Good Touch. I like that they made purposefully bad guns as a joke.

But the Bad Touch is probably my favorite all around gun in the game, and I always have one in the select slot on the left. I have a Bad Touch for every occasion...or every time Sanctuary levels up...levels 11, 15, 18, 22, 24, 26, and 39. I'm also filling the gap between 26 and 39 as my current Siren progresses and I will likely get a few beyond 39. I'd give you any one you wanted if you were on PS3.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

I think I'm just about done with this one. Played up to 2.5 with a Siren, farmed the bee and CC, farmed tera and a few others for a bit to pile up around 12 different oranges. Put in about 70 hours total. I'll probably still play a few hours until blops 2 then this one will be put away until the level cap is increased. More fun than the first but the weapon drops were pretty terrible. I was able to get one orange gun, a level 30 Gentlemans Volcano. Yep, just one orange drop in 60+ hours of playtime before outright farming for them. I actually dug going after the bee and CC, it helped me squeak out another 10-15 hours of the game. The guns themselves didn't seem nearly as neat as the first either. I remember completely dominating enemies for quite a few levels once I found that certain special gun. This one it seemed like I would use whatever I found at the time and then switch at the next level, repeat.

Thanks for the code...You Tube. I've used quite a few for Maya with one every other Level. At Level 49.5 right now I'm not sure if I'll use another or just wait and use them on my Mechromancer who is Level 35.

I'm only level 25

I've had the game since release day, too.

I used three keys last night and got two grenade mods, and four guns. Only one gun was really worth keeping.

Somehow, I can still open that box infinitely on PS3. I find that I rarely keep anything from it though.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

Yea...I'm getting good to decent stuff but after leveling up they become less and less powerful. Unless I use some Mod that gives them a boost I have to move them down to my next character. My last "Key" got me a Fire Rocket Launcher with 120K x3 damage (Level 49). But I had to breakdown and tip Moxxie $50K to get a better Fire SMG than the other (level 40) and it was double the damage. I will say the shotgun I got was pretty awesome...Shock at about 10K+ x3 damage Level 37.

Hyperius the Invincible is fucking crazy hard with only 2 people. But we beat him. Took like 20 tries. Thankfully my buddy got the Bee shield after we farmed Hunter Hellquist only after about 10 tries. Duped that bitch and we are nearly unstoppable with some of the good weapons.

Farmed about 15 orange weapons at this point. Farming is pretty damn fun, definitely added a good 20 hours to the game so far.

Depends on what you're looking for. Just about any named enemy has an orange drop of some variety.

Here's a pretty good list: http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Le...rderlands_2.29

Just run around killing these dudes, exit and restart. It seems to help if you have 3-4 players.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

just where the heck are some putting all their weapons from farming? I reached level 50 last night and a friend dumped a load of Level 50 stuff including two "Orange Mods" for Maya along with 2-3 other orange items. I've been moving stuff down to the next character(s) but litteraly had to clean out almost everything to make room for the items he gave me. I have zero room in the bank and backpack and still have several missions including "Mr T" and the new Pirate DLC

I killed a boss the other day (Henry?) and an orange shield dropped called The Cradle. Kind of crappy, so I just sold it

I have an extra character, an assassin that I'm not playing anymore, that I use as sort of a mobile bank. He basically holds orange and purple stuff for me in his backpack and bank. I just bring him in with a second controller in Sanctuary. I even named him "Mule".

That said, I think the bank should be much larger.

What are you guys doing with more than a banks worth of weapons? As it is, I don't know that I've ever used something after putting it in my bank.
