Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012
Well I finally broke down and used two code for two characters; Maya Level 35 and Gaige Level 31. I wanted to wait till I hit Maya at Level 35 and pulled the trigger getting....
Bolshy Pooshka Sniper - Level 35 w/2395 Damage, Burn Damage 576.5, Magazine 15, Accuracy 95
Social Pressence SMG - Level 35 w/ 753 Damage, Burn Damage 576.5, Magazine 33, Accuracy 93.9
...then did one for the Mechromanacer and got two grenades, both hock with one being a transfussion. Was hoping for a weapon but thinking Caige's special elemental is about Shock these might prove useful.
One thing I'm puzzeled on is one mission that won't open up with Maya and we cannot figure why it won't trip. I've only got two left...the one with the "Big Dude" and this which we cannot get to trip...
The Fridge - "Every once in awhile a goliath gets a good idea""
And by the way if anyone has or getting a character up in the mid teens or so I've got a Moxxie SMG Level 22 to give. I ended up with a spare "Good" model.

If you've already done that one then you just need to walk around the Fridge and look for a Goliath. He never shows up as an exclamation point, you just need to search for him and kill him, and then he'll drop an echo that triggers the mission.

The Goliath mission only becomes available after you do the mission for scooter where you try to win back his girlfriend Laney.

Thanks...that's what I thought and so did my co-op friend so it's back again....twice already. Gives me a chance to play with the new weapons I got from the key I used.

I think I nabbed all but one code this weekend.
I don't mind it, but I can see how it could be annoying to others. That's probably it until next weekend for codes. Anyone else think a new thread should be started?

not sure if there is any truth to this, but for 360 owners, playing with randoms could infect your save file...

I think the only people looking for them are going to look here. There's not that much other discussion going on generally. Keep it here is my vote.

Badass Stats all reset. Not sure if it was related to the patch or what, but I haven't played in a week or so. Fucking awesome.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012
Rats...only able to grab 1 of the last 4 codes....
I think what I'll do is use one for Maya (Level 34)...hand it down to the Mechromancer(Level 32) who will hand it down to Gunserker (Level 17) later on. And when Maya hits say 40-41 open another chest and hand it down again.
FWIW...I ignored the slag weapons myself but found using a Slag pistol w/640 damage followed by a Acid weapon especilly on Mechs is devastating. I keep at least one in my 4-weapon rotation all the time now.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012
so i heard the rumor of this and tested it last night. A good way to level up a new character (if you don't want to play through the story again, which after a few chars is understandable) is to:
so i'll probably stop where i'm at, but hey, its nice to know for testing out guys/going for achievements

Flesh-Stick automatically becomes lvl 52 after you finish round 2. Killing him in "playthrough 2.5" now nets you 6375xp per kill (by comparison, a lvl 52 Warrior nets around 22,000xp). But using the method above you can literally kill Flesh Stick approx 45-50 times per minute if you're quick/coordinated enough. So you'll be getting close to 318,750xp per minute. There is absolutely nothing else in this game that will get you anywhere near that much XP that fast.
If you look on the internet about this method, a lot of people say it starts to crawl once the character you are trying to power level reaches lvl 40 or so and then it's not worth it anymore. Not completely true. If you do this method AFTER you've finished playthrough 2, your xp prgress bar slows down slightly, but you are still gaining upwards of 300K xp per minute. You max out at lvl 50. Flesh stick is always lvl 52, so the XP you get from him will not decrease as you level up because he's always 2 levels above you. Believe me, it goes by quick.
I just did it this morning solo (split-screen with two controllers) and it only took me 20 minutes to take a brand new lvl 1 Mechromancer to lvl 50. I haven't done a single mission with that character. I'll gladly spend 20 minutes as opposed to the 5+ days it took to do it legit playing through story, which I've already done multiple times.
Oh another thing that really helps is having the character killing flesh stick be a Gunzerker. If his skill tree is set up right, he can gunzerk for the entire 20 minutes it takes to completely level up, and he'll never run out of ammo.

This method works works wonders. But if you're gonna use it, I highly suggest skipping that specific Tiny Tina mission altogether until you finish TVH mode. Here's why:
