Wow, I guess I need to finish the game as my main is only level 22.

Damn that's quick for the first DLC. I guess they're trying to get it out before Halo and CoD.

I'm all for it, I'll probably switch over to COD in November for a while.

I was thinking of getting the season pass as well, but if one of the DLCs is an arena-mode, like Moxxie was, then I wouldn't be interested in all the DLCs and would only pay for 2 of the 3 anyways, which is the same price as the season pass.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

i thought there were going to be 4 planned DLCs so the season pass was already a discount.

i bought my PC one from green man gaming for $22.50, so no brainer.

Yes, yes, there'll be 4 for the price of 3. Doesn't matter because his point stands.

At first I was hoping the expansion ups the level cap, but then I realized I don't care much, and actually hope it can be done with a lower level character. Give me some variety of content for when I'm replaying the game with new characters.

I just hope they end up giving us enough skill points to reach the bottom of two different tree branches. I love my dual-gun turret, but I'd love to have a second one or have it blast a nuke when I launch it too.

Yeah, two dual turrets sounds pretty sweet.

I am going to guess that there will be pirate skins and custom pirate heads for each character.

I would still buy the season pass. That way you will always have access to the crappy dlc in case you ever decided to check it out. It's the same price in the end so you're really not losing out on anything. I think they knew the Moxxie dlc sucked and that was why they made you buy it to get access to the bank.

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012

BTW, if you come across a weapon called "Fibber" (it may have an adjective as well, like "Base Fibber") that seems to have underwhelming stats, under no circumstances should you throw it away before trying it out. All of the stats are lies and it may very well be the best gun you come across in the game.

I guess i got the wrong fibber as my stats were really really high and it was weak.

Ditto. I had a pistol that claimed 4,199 damage and a magazine size of over 1,200. It was nowhere that, but it fooled me for a while since I just believed it without verifying

I'm sure "Scarlett" and her Booty will be up there level wise so no need to rush. If she is the first with three more (for now), makes you wonder just how high the levels will go.

Well, I meant when the fibber gives you a low number, it's likely much higher - when it gives a ridiculously high number, then it's probably lower.

Yeah, we know that. That's why he said "wrong" fibber. As in it was the wrong kind of fibber.

Meh. Too much DLC, and too soon. Will trade in and wait for GOTY version.
Spoiler:
Probably.

Are the skin change mods readily available and no real need to keep them in inventory?

Once you activate a skin mod it disappears from your inventory. Just select it in your backpack and click A (I think) to use it.

Oh, ok. I didn't know so I sold them. Still in the very early goings so no worries. Thanks MC.
